How to reset 7" Uconnect system?

Does anyone know how to reset the 7 inch Uconnect without premium sound, my front drivers front speakers ain’t working. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I ran a positive speakers wire from the passenger knee panel speaker to the drivers side and it came on with no issues.any ideas ?front dash speaker are not working either. Are they wired together?

If the reset is the same as the 8.4 Prem audio you can hold the volume knob and the tune knob for roughly 15 secs, when you let it go the head unit will power off, wait patiently and it will power back up in about 10 secs or so? (seemed longer)

Note: i did have the veh. running, i don't know if it resets in just acc position, i had not tried that.

i'm guessing that's what you meant by reset.

Try pulling the main radio fuse and see if that reboots it. If not, fully disconnect both batteries for a few minutes.

Disconnecting the Battery may or may not reset it. Looking at other posts for radio issues (bad static on all settings, bluetooth, am, fm, sirius ect.) disconnecting the battery did not remedy it.

But there could have been other underlying factors. did you have any luck figuring out your issues?

No not yet , but I did have to redo the Metra harness’s they were all wired backwards. But now the ones working are way louder and have way better deep tones . But still no drivers side front . Im going to the dealership to file a warranty claim and get a radio swap . I think it’s the radio itself now. ?
