I finally got partially naked the first time.

Id be careful with those, read of many people that loved them until their doors didnt go on anymore. Something about the foot pressure bending the hinge out of alignment. Thats why I went with the Carolina Metal Masters.

That's great insight, it would not be fun finding out you can't get the doors back on. Those CMM mirrors seem like a great option

Indeed doorless was fun. Semi reminded me of my motorcycle days. I felt it looked fine with just the 2 front doors on, but I also didnt bother with taking the top off.

I went doors/top off for the first time on the highway this morning on the way to work. It was a joy. The thing that I never expected was all the smells. I had no idea so much was going on around my vehicle, and rarely were the smells good lol. If you are comfortable driving with no mirrors then just buy a set of the cheap mirrors off amazon so you stay legal. I spent $25 and they are crap for staying adjusted, but the $25 is worth not risking getting pulled over. I procrastinate so much I cant afford 15 minutes on the side of the road pulled over, more than likely I'm already late. Sorry the picture is really washed out by the morning sun.

Im not worried about getting pulled over around here for no mirrors. Changing lanes on the highway did kind of suck. Im not big of most looks of bolt on mirrors. I am thinking of just doing some vent blind spot mirrors and calling it good for those lane change moments.

took my doors off tuesday and have been off since. i use these from kikbax mirrors now that have a door step too, i love things with more than one function. the metal is strong and mirrors don't rattle much. i fear that they get stolen though.

i had lange coyote mirrors that were connected by the cowl prior to the kikbax. before that these blind spot mirrors (amazon) stuck onto the air vents while i was deciding that worked well enough.

yeah, that seems to be the only downside I can see of having a topper on the bed.
