Hey All,
Now that gator is in production I need to get my ass in gear and get my wheels ordered but I cannot decide. I'm trying to build my JT similar to the Wayout but with only black accents not tan. I hear the Black rhino wheels are super heavy but what do you guys think looks better?
Also, there was a discussion here that I cannot find now about the actual steel wheels that were on the wayout and somebody posted the company from California that sells them. anybody have that link.
So what would you choose?
1. Fifteen 52 Analog HD wheels in black
or
2. Black Rhino Armory wheels in black
or
3. Wayout steel wheels in black.

Thanks for the help deciding!

52’s Like the steelies but an alloy option with small slots to let your brakes breathe.

Yeah these are the ones I'm leaning towards but I keep going back & forth with the black rhinos. That's why I need help so appreciate your input.

1552's.

I personally like them better and it will look alot more like the Wayout concept. do wish they came in 17*9's though.

it seems everyone is running those Black Rhinos and they are HEAVY.

the Analogs look like they weigh 27lbs vs 35lbs for the Armory. I want my wheel / tire package as light as possible personally, especially upsizing the tires without regearing.

Yeah I think I've decided to go with the fifteen52's. I'm gonna order them tonight or tomorrow.

17x8.5" I believe.
yea, 17*8.5. 4.75 BS with 0 offset. good fitment, just personally like a 9" a little better especially with a 37"+.

I think they'll look great on a "overland" style build, kind of wish I was brave enough to pull it off.

I'm only doing 35"Ă—12.50" so I think they will be fine for that tire.

This is a slippery slope , that I have fallen down at times and if I can offer a suggestion. First decide how you are going to use the vehicle and then go and use it stock in stock configuration, maybe a couple weeks to a month before making any major purchases. I know I have wasted a lot of money replacing items I bought that did not fit into the way I eventually used the vehicle. I always do small upgrades as soon as I get (door sill protectors, floor mats, etc) I know the items will be needed and will not affect the performance or driving experience.

Any updated pics with the 52’s? I’m leaning toward those as well and would like to see them on the JT with 35s.

Thanks! They look awesome!

Edit: I scrolled through your build page and it definitely sealed the deal on getting the Analogs. I love the look! You have a great looking JT!

Just stumbled on this, thinking about exactly these two wheels when I go to order my Gator JT. I'm thinking I might paint the wheels and hardtop Gobi to go with the Gator though. Hmmmm......
