I like it better "backwards".

Well sorta, the narrow end does have a rain deflector on it, so if it was mounted on a roof it supposed to keep rain from infiltrating. In my case, it's below the roof line. Other than that, ya, now opens from drivers side. Plus maybe more aerodynamic in my case???no real difference in function other than just that it opens opposite side, right?
Billie bars website lists compatible covers. They also answer their phones for questions.I have a weathertech rollup tonneau cover. Wonder if those bars would work with it?
Well, I just got it. Great Memorial day sale $850 off, still not cheap. I will say that I did a lot of research. I found that the quality is second to none. It only weighs 123 lbs. Weight was a big factor for me. I am a solo camper, so plenty of room for me and my stuff. I did put some peel n stick carpet on the floor to minimize any condensation. Seems to have plenty of room for storage inside when closed. Currently have my eXped mega mat, two sleeping bags and my Hest pillow inside and it closed with ease. Simple setup and breakdown, another big factor for me. Hoping to get out in it in the next couple weeks locally, then some bigger trips in the coming months.Pickle_Bill how do you like the ikamper skykamp 3.0? Been looking at hardshell tents. Also I emailed Billie Bars and they replied right away saying my tonneau cover should work with their bars.
I got mine at Rack Attack. Great service there. The had one on display, and one in stock. Looks like they have a location near you in King of Prussia, PA.Pickle_Bill how do you like the ikamper skykamp 3.0? Been looking at hardshell tents.
