I thought it may be useful for members to see the leveling kit installed on a gas Rubicon with a steel bumper and factory 33’s. It also has new Fox 2.0 shocks. No other suspension modifications. After driving it around about 500 miles, the front is about 2” high. The ride and handling is improved…it seemed to get better after some driving.

I'm torn. I think jeeps look better level, but trucks look better with some rake.

I've heard F150's lose an ungodly amount of gas mileage if you level them, but I doubt a slight lift could hurt our aerodynamics anymore than the designers already did!

I might add a .5 or 3/4“ rear spacer…haven’t decided. The gap between the fenders and tires is different from front to back, with more space in the front...and the Rubicon has high fenders, so the front looks higher. I haven’t noticed a change in mileage…it’s still a brick with wheels! 😂

A Good reason to add a winch!

I think the fender gap front to rear looks good when it's close to the same.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna add a .75 spacer. Wish I could get a winch right now...need to add that to the list! 😅

I went from level to rake, then level, then back to rake. I am a serious man-child and I can't make up my mind  But in my opinion the rake does look better on JT's lifted higher than 4". With an overall length of 218", longer than the Tacoma, Colorado and Ranger, the rear needs to be a bit higher to make us go faster :CWL:

I installed rear 3/4” spacers. I am happy with the slight “rake” now. At some point I may get different rims and slightly taller tires. I like the handling much better now when compared to the factory set-up.

Thanks! I think it looks better too. So far, no negative effects from anything. Better over all.

Which 3/4" spacers did you use in the rear?
