An I-Phone fits perfectly in between the 2 front drink holders. I tried that on a Gladiator about a week ago.

“Necessity is the mother of invention”... didn’t want to spend my money on expensive phone mount so my idle hands created this... i took an old wrench that comes with the furniture we buy nowadays and have to put together, and a sway bar disconnect retaining pin. Heated the wrench, adjusted the angles and attached it to the screw under the rubber mat in the middle of the dash. Attached the pin and installed a small rubber foot under it for vibration dampening. Trimmed a small piece off the rubber mat and reinstalled it as well to cover the screws. Clamped on my mob armor holder that i recycled from my JKR build and the end result is awesome.

It does, but it gets annoying if you are actually using the cup holders for drinks with condensation all over them and then running the wires around it.

I am using a mount from ProClips and I love it. Can angle it how I need it and the phone slides right into the holder with ease.

The Otterbox case I use won’t fit. I’m going with the 67 Designs. It would be nice to route the cable behind the dash and not have it hanging over the center stack.

I’m planning on getting a Vector JLE dock for mine along with the 67 designs arm/phone mount. But I also plan on having an iPad, sPod, Garmin inreach, my ham control head, and whatever gadgets my wife needs. Kinda just depends what you’re needing to run up there.
