Is anyone flat towing with the Rugged Ridge Arcus

I'm wondering if anyone is using the recovery hooks on the Arcus bumper to flat tow. Both Rugged Ridge and e-Trailer day they know people do it, but I'd like to hear from someone that is actually doing it.
I have the stock plastic bumper right now and Blue Ox baseplate but want to switch to the Arcus. e-Trailer tells me the baseplate will not fit with the bumper.

The Arcus is a great looking bumper but without the BlueOx specific hardware I wouldn't trust it. I ended up going with the Rock Hard 4x4 since I could bolt up the BlueOx connection points.

Why wouldn't you trust it? The Arcus attaches to the frame the same exact way every other bumper attaches. You can always add the bolts of your choice, if worried about those. I've got an Arcus and I see no difference in the way it attaches to the frame than the stock bumper or any other bumper I've seen, for that matter. Unless I'm missing something with the flat tow hardware.

Why wouldn't you trust it?

I'm not saying it can't be done. But if OP was going to just purchase the BlueOx hardware from Rock Hard 4x4 and then try to put them on the face of the bumper at the end of the frame rails the cool looking protruding hooks from the Arcus would be in the way or would not be installed and then there is the bulge in the metal right in between both mounting points. The BlueOx hardware would have to be installed with spacers to clear that and it would look like an afterthought IMO.
