I requested a price quote from Courtesy Jeep and a Sport S came out at 54,040 MSRP. When I build at at Jeep.com it comes to 51,180 which includes 1495 destination but also 1k in consumer cash. Kate says her pricing reflects Jeep’s current pricing and I have no reason to doubt her. A 2k difference though?

Shop around. You should get well under MSRP from any competitive dealer.

Yes. I am shopping some of the below invoice dealers mentioned on the forum near Pa. OTD pricing is coming in at 53k at Courtesy and 52k at Tri City. These prices include fees and about 3k in taxes but do not include consumer cash /rebates which are currently 1k. I plan on securing my own financing. Still waiting on Criswell for my quote.

I just went through this. The Jeep page build it the way you want it; but when the dealer goes into build it, they are forced to add on certain items. I was trying to build a Sport S and it was forcing me to add black wheel, dual top group and tonneau cover.

I was fine with the Basic Tow package and ended up ordering an Overland instead because it ended up being a cheaper build.

Holy crap. 50k for a sport s? I will say this. When I priced mine out, the hardtop did not add into the price on the website. Imagine thats not the only bug.

I lucked out, they didn't notice until delivery and ate the cost. Sounds like your dealership is savy to it. Just my guess. They sell em, jeep.com don't.

This was march. So recent.

As mentioned, wonder if you can get a cheaper build leaving base.

You might want to take a look at financing with Tri City as you can get an additional 1% off. They use Capital One a lot and I did a pre-approval online (no hard credit pull). I got a lot better rate than I was expecting. Comparing to my credit union and bank, Capital One was 1.71% lower, plus you get the extra 1% off.

Yes! I didn’t even click all the boxes. I bet you can get a Sport S close to 60k msrp with adaptive cruise, leather, etc. Here it is...

I'll just throw it out there again... have you tried making your build on a higher base model? I wonder if the price would go down.

I can only go Rubicon and still get 4.10 gears

A similarly equipped Rubicon is 57k on Jeep.com, so probably 59k msrp. I want the 4.10 gears.

Maybe they have finally worked out the kinks then. I saved 3k switching from sport to willys sport with mine. For sport s, overland seems to be where a price drop can be found.

It all depends on options obviously. I don't know trims max tow gets sold now.. but 50k for a sport s just sounds so crazy to me. My willys was 40k and I know I spent more than I had too.

The website MSRP is low by about $600.

I built my Sport S on Jeep.com and the price on my order sheet was 47095 and on jeep.com it is $46,495.

Not a big difference but it will cause confusion if you are comparing with an actual build from the dealer

I built a sport S on Jeep.com and it was around 44k, but when I built it at the dealer, it was 47k. Luckily they gave me a deal and I got it for 8% off MSRP.

When you build it on Jeep.com it excludes the destination fees:

*MSRP excludes destination, taxes, title and registration fees. Starting at price refers to the base model, optional equipment not included. A more expensive model may be shown. Pricing and offers may change at any time without notification. To get full pricing details, see your dealer.

Direct from the Jeep website

Best way to build your Jeep is to start with the order guide (located in this thread), and manually work the numbers. You'll know the exact MSRP (& invoice), plus you'll have all the build codes to easily compare with your dealer to ensure they're adding the same options you are (I'm looking at you safety group & advanced safety group).

The Jeep website isn't updated reguarly in terms of pricing and options. For example, it still shows Nacho as a color choice when that hasn't been available to order for months.

Bottom line simple answer is that yes, that site is off, sometimes it's not even up to date as far as what you can and can't get with certain models and options and pricing is often off as well.

Use it ONLY to get examples and take to a dealer and talk about. Don't use that as the blueprint for final anything. Examples only.
