Is 2026 TPMS incompatable w 2020 TPMS?

Anybody know if the 2026 TPMS technology is not compatable with 2020 JT/JL Jeep technology?

So, I have 2 sets of tires & wheels.

Yesterday, I swapped out my oem 2026 tires & wheels with my 37" MT tires & wheels w 2020 TPMS. They have worked just fine with 3 previous 2020 JL & JT vehicles... As recently as in June of this year.

Yesterday, my new 2026 JT says "Tire Pressure Unavailble" when I put on my old tires/wheels.

If it was one or maybe two not reporting I might think the batteries dies, but not all 4 batteries could have died since June.

2020 tpms does not work with anything beyond early 2021. The 2020 tpms has air up alert which later jeeps did not

Np, same issue with my late 2020 build 2021 and my wife's late 2021 wrangler, her wheels work on mine but my wheels won't work on hers. Just ended up disabling tpms on the wrangler
