Ive got a RAM 1500 with 5.7 hemi and a RAM 2500 with 6.7 high outpit cumins...im very familiar with the power difference compared with 3.6.
I am unlikely to supercharge now after having the RAMs...the 5.7 is a great engine.
Believe it or not, our RAM 1500 gets better economy than the jeep 3.6.
On trips our RAM gets around 12 litres per hundred km...the Jeep has never been below 13-14 litres per 100km...and with 35" tyres, jeep is currently burning over 15-16 litres per 100km.
The Jeep economy is terrible, although one has to accept that aerodynamics are a big factor there as the jeep is very boxy. But hey, ya dont buy Jeep wranglers and Gladiators for aerodynamics.
