This has been going on intermittently for a while. Every day or two I’ll get this warning. The tires service warning and a dead reading on the front left wheel. I had the TPMS replaced in that tire but it didn’t fix it. I thought it was another bad TPMS sender. But then…. I had the tires rotated and the same wheel shows the alert. So, I marked the tires and had them rotated again…. Same warning. Different wheel in that position. So it must be the receiver for the TPMS signal that is on the blink. What do I need to fix this?

I have a JT now and a JK and Cherokee prior to that and can tell you I have had problems with the TPS on those vehicles as well. Same thing on a Colorado ZR2 and Ford pickup before that. The technology has an abysmal record I believe. I took the TPS off my JK and turned the ones on the JT off with Tazer. I didn't find their reading accurate anyway. Good luck to you.

Have you gone through any water crossings recently? If I recall the receiver is bolted to the rear crossmember, little black box with wires on it. Dealer can reset that and if it doesn’t work they may have to replace it.

Thanks, but no recent water crossing. Small creek a couple years ago. 10” deep at most.

I’ll mention it to my service advisor next oil change. Little black box🤔……. sounds ominous.
