Congrats and Great purchase! We're also considering that trailer, because it meets our needs and weight requirements. It's a very strong contender against the NoBo and GeoPro in the same class.

i have a regular tow package (not max) and camper is about the same dry weight as yours. Was very happy with the trucks capability to move our camper. went with the mopar brake controller, i just preferred the finished, integrated ease of it and it works well. i found 4 to be the right setting for my setup. im working on backup cam connecting to the head unit instead of a second screen, but haven't had a chance to test it out. also went with the rampage mirrors and thorne adapters, they are perfect for my use.

being single axle, i'd recommend TPMS on the camper, you really really do not want a blowout. had one on our old camper, luckily on a smaller, mostly empty county road and not interstate. damaged the trailer frame some, and the wheel.

Congratulations!
Looks awesome.

As already mentioned, tongue load should be observed.

And for me, fortunately no issues with towing 4000 +++

Congratulations! I have the sister to that trailer, the Grand Design AIM 16ML. I've been pleased with the way the Gladiator tows it. We've pulled it about 4,000 miles so far. I started with the wireless brake controller also, but felt more comfortable with the Mopar set up in that the chances of it coming unhooked seemed less. Assuming you bought your trailer from Sonny's, I did too. My brochure weight was 3,875ish, and my fully loaded Cat scale weight was 4,650. Well within the tow specs of the Overland. It looks like you have the sway control built in to the hitch set-up which is better in my opinion than the external ones. I also ordered the tire linc TPMS, which is not very useful when driving because you have to go into the app. I generally check before we leave adn periodically when we travel. Great set-up in my opinion. Enjoy!

Always check your tires before towing and also check the rating of the tires the camper came with, I have seen a lot of friends and my new camper’s with cheap tires and also just barely meeting the load rating of the trailer. My current trailer I pulled the OEM and went with Hanook tires with a higher weight and PSI rating, also had more of a square shoulder and we noticed the difference. My camper is a 24 footer with a 3100 lb. dry weight and 4100 GVW. Single axle tows great…..Jack

We are in the market for a camper as well. I’ve been nervous about towing with the Gladiator as I have always had a full size. Good to see it’s capable enough for these trailers!
