After a recent app update, I have a button that says "Ventilation: On".
Looking it up I find "Active Cabin Ventilation".
Does anyone know if this is a standard feature or an option on some models?

The only time I remember to try it is when the truck is in the garage, so when it fails with an overly vague message I don't know if it's because it can't get a signal or if I don't have the feature. I don't have the remote start button since I don't have that option, so it would seem like bad programming to give me this button if I don't have the option. I tested all the other buttons in the dealer parking lot, but this one wasn't there at the time. (I don't suggest using the horn button, since the connection has quite the delay before you can get it to stop)

I have a 2025 base Sport and this option is on my app also. I would imagine it is standard across all models.

So one day I just need to remember to test it outside the garage! Thanks

I don't have this feature on my App, not sure why. Haven't had any updates either.

Yes, it's a 2025 thing (the ACV, obviously not the app). No, not related to Sirius.

My salesman didn't set it up, other than inputting my email on his side. Then I set up an account with that email on my phone.

That’s to control the in cab ventilation system, that controls a door inside the HVAC system that closes off the outside air from the inside, that won’t operate when the defrost/de-ice is on. Because that will cause condensation on the windows, just like breathing on them. When I’m driving in the hot Florida sun, I keep the outside air out, that helps the filter clean the air coming in. Once the cabin is cooled down I open up the vent to the outside air to help get fresh air in.

It is a smartphone app.

I’m new to this forum but I do use the Jeep app for my 2025 wrangler Rubi. I found the most useful feature is the door lock/unlock. I keep my key fobs in a faraday bag so if you ‘accidentally’ leave the fob in the bag the jeep cannot detect the fob as being ‘naked’ and notify/not lock the door. But if the fob is undetectable the key fob can be locked inside the jeep. The Jeep app door unlock feature is a nice backup to have if that scenario should ever happen.
