does anyone have a way to contact jeeps warranty department - it used to be called the arbitration board.

in north county San Diego, we have some pretty busy dealers. Since the pandemic, service appointments are booked 2-4 months out.

inhave an April 2021 in service date for my car- JTRD 2021

i wanted to take in my car for the Fuel Pump recall and do my first 10k service at the same time. The car has 12k miles on it as of 10/2024.

i have numerous issues that have occurred. all my front safety sensors fails and I got a CEL light on the way to Vegas and lost my turbo charger function due to the issue (cel code was a generic turbo fault). It seems to work again after a restart. It occurs only on freeway. Car loses passing power and can only go about 50 mph.

i have had to reschedule the visit 3-4 times over 18 months due to fuel pump not being available.

i finally got in yesterday and the service manager said he can’t do the free service for 10k and I will likely not be covered under warranty for any other issues.

I explained that they told me that They assured me waiting to do it all with HP fuel pump (when available) would be fine. Now the service manager shrugged his shoulders and said ‘not sure what to tell you’.

Boy was I an idiot For not protecting my downside.

thendealer has numerous record of me scheduling appointments with all these issues but also waiting for the HPFP.

i want to make an appeal to get all this fixed under warranty.

this makes me question purchasing the JT4XE When available.

Reach out to Jeep wave customer care. They helped me with my long standing issues that ran beyond the warranty period.

Just wondering, have you owned this since April of 21 and 12,000 miles and you haven’t done an oil change?

What I understand from your post is going to leave you with a big No from Jeep.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're outside the 3/36 warranty period, and have done no oil changes. The owners manual (the one I read) clearly states a maximum of 12 months or 12k miles between oil changes.

Scheduling appointments is not enough. To get issues logged, the truck has to go in for a service appointment. Even if they do nothing and tell you to come back again, the appointment has to be completed in the system to get it logged.

Unless the dealer will stand by you and fight for your cause with Jeep, this will likely not go anywhere.

Sorry I changed oil at 1k, 5k and then covid hit. I was trying to get the recall and 10k service done at the same time and kept rescheduling the appointment b/c the HPFP were not available. I mentioned this the entire time, and then once they were available I scheduled the appointment at 12k miles. More over, more things piled up - turbo issue, front collision sensors, etc.

Now they are saying we dont care what the scheduler told you, we dont care that appointments at the dealer ship take 3 months. your loss.

I was trusting of the scheduler and I will likely get burnt.

sorry to vent, I should have known better.

Put on many miles during COVID. 1, 5, and 10 were easily passed in the first six months.

I make tabletop games and the entire industry shut down for 6 months and then went work from home and it exploded in terms of demand. So I was quite literally stuck at home.

also, I live in the Peoples Republic of California and the dealers didn’t have anyone working either or they were deemed non essential. They are still months behind

thanks for all the shortcuts. I should have forced the issue and documented everything. Hoping for a positive outcome. I don’t care about the oil changes and tire rotations.

I do care about the other issues where I was assured it could be done with the HPFP recall and then I carelessly pushed past the warranty date.

If they don’t honor this, I will sell it and buy a bronco or build a used jeep.

I found a few emails where the service scheduler said “all will be fine and bring in the car once the HPFP is available and we’ll do it all at the same time”

thanks all.

I haven't done my HPFP yet on my 22, but I got a letter about getting it done and they called it a "safety recall" now. If my understanding is correct, warranty or no warranty, a safety recall must be performed.

Are they saying they won’t do an oil change free of charge or that they won’t do the fuel pump?

You only get three free oil changes if you purchased new in 2021 AND it has to he done within 36 months of your purchase.

Reach out to Jeep wave customer care. They helped me with my long standing issues that ran beyond the warranty period.
Jeep Wave sucks. They've been little or no help to me over the last 3 years of major.breakdowns with my diesel.JT. Been trying to call them for 3 weeks and they no longer take messages, tell you all are.busy call back later. The diesel was axed because it has so many problems. With mine in the shop more than 100 total.days since 8k miles I'm totally fed up with it. One year ago they had to replace the entire exhaust from the manifolds to the CAT. Now 3 weeks ago the same issue but now warranty was refused because a failed gasket which is not a covered part caused the DPF to fail so the $3700 DPF system I had to pay for as warranty was refused due to it being damaged due to a non covered part. No luck being able to contact Jeep doesn't care and tired of paying for a hotel 1000 miles from home for the 7th time now, I paid the $4000 bill. Exactly 150 miles later all the lights went off on the dash again and I'm for the 2nd time in a week in limp mode. I had AAA tow me the 200 miles they paid for and negotiated with the tow company to tow me from eastern NM to AZ and my selling dealer.who has had it now for 2 weeks. The estimate to fix (all the injectors are bad) is $4700 which they say should be covered under warranty but now both batteries are dead.and won't take a.charge and to replace is $870. BOTH are less than a year old. I brought them two new batteries today and wanted to install but since the Jeep is in their shop I can't due to insurance reasons. Oh forgot, the dealer in TX damaged a temp.sensor installing the new DPF filter and that isn't covered by warranty, of course the TX dealer who worked on it two weeks ago denies it. I still.call Jeep Cares three or 4 times a day and get the recording to call.back. I feel his pain but he was Mr . Nice Guy and waited too long trusting the dealer, I don't think that he's going to get any love from.Jeep and will best be served by a lemon.law.attorney. His state lemon law might be expired in his case like mine but Federal will still protect him. Stop pussy footing around with Jeep and stick it to them under Federal lemon law
