First off, as a fellow vet with PTSD, I feel for the anxiety your going through, and no one should have to go through with that....IMHO, I would also go for as much warranty, ext as possible, with included service for the length of the warranty (if a belt need to be changed $0.00, oil change, $0.00, everythign until the end of warranty (or your sale of jeep, whichever comes first)

@Free2roam
The problem with that is I was sold the Ally Major Guard by the selling dealer.

One thing you also may keep in mind. I traded in a vehicle when I got my JTRD the end of October. My trade had an Ally warranty. I called them up to cancel the policy. They prorated it and I got a check in the mail10 days later for $1,200 based on the Mileage…35,000 +/-. The F&I guy informed me I could to it and he wasn’t full of it! So, just something to consider.

Absolutely nothing. No wrecks or anything
Car fax is crap. I totaled my TJ in March of ‘00 or ‘01 and it was titled to a new driver out of state the following September with not only a clean title, there wasn’t an accident history at all.

Off topic, but I'm a fellow veteran with "issues"...

ArmyMP, I don't know if you've reached out to the VA and I don't need to know. I just wanted to share that the VA is finally getting their act together when it comes to mental health services. So, if you haven't reached out, I would strongly encourage you to do so.

I had to attend a brief orientation at my local VA clinic. A very nice and very professional nurse practitioner simply explained what they can and can't do. (For example one guy in the orientation wanted a support dog and the VA doesn't do that. Service dogs yes. Therapy dogs no.)

I filled out a brief questionnaire on which I indicated I was interested in "Telehealth". A very nice (and stunningly beautiful) doctor asked me if I had intended to indicate I was interested in Telehealth. I confirmed I was and she said someone would call me to set it up.

I expected it would be six months or more before I heard anything. To my astonishment, I got a call a couple of days later. I went back to the VA clinic for my first session. They put me in a private room with a computer which connected me to a PhD Licensed Clinical Therapist. Here again, she was very nice as well as intelligent and compassionate. She is also young which I like; not because I think she's hot but because I've heard the older guys can be cranky. She is also very dedicated to helping veterans. (She told me she helps people who just returned from deployments as well as WWII veterans. Yeah, WWII veterans!)

After that first session, all my sessions have been at home on my computer. (No need to drive to a clinic. No need to sit in offices with other people looking at you.) I just click a link in an email the VA sends me and it pops up a web page and connects me to my doctor. It's all very easy and it works surprisingly well. I was skeptical, but I did what my doctor asked me to do and it has made a huge improvement in my disposition and in my life.

I don't know your situation and it's none of my business. I just wanted to share this you and any other veteran who might be struggling. It's not easy for us military types to admit we need help. And it takes a lot of courage to do so. Please don't hesitate to get help if you have not already. You can hang tough and still get help. Peace be with you.

No worries. Hooah. 100% P&T through the VA. Hoping to figure out how to become a VSO and help other vets now.

Planning on a youtube channel about PTSD/TBI, Camping and Jeep Stuff once they decide to bless me with my gladiator back.

I fought the VA for years for compensation and finally ended up having to go it alone when my VSO died of covid.

Gonna need it. Got an update that a project time for my injector is now mid March. So I pretty much laid down the glove on the lemon and told jeep I want them to buy it back or get me another diesel rubicon.
