Hopefully this is an easy one for somebody that's already done it...I'm ready to swap my fender DRLs with the Morimoto XB LEDs and supposedly it's easy to break a few plastic fender clips when removing them. Is there an easy place to get a pack of replacements, either real Mopar or if anybody has found a decent substitute on Amazon or somewhere? Thanks!

I bought a few last year from Extreme Terrain for my JL. Part number is 68395634AA. It has since been replaced by 68526185AA.

AND, having gone through this, order enough to replace ALL of the clips on the fender(s) you're pulling.

The real lucky SOB's don't break any. The lucky SOB's break a few. Then us poor bastards who have no GOOD luck break them all. I think a couple broke on the back fenders out of sympathy since I never touched them.

I bought a pack of 100 from NAPA Auto Parts. The have a ton of different sizes. Take one in and match.

If you are planning on doing a fender split/chop, I would recommend these from American Adventure Labs: https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-fender-retention-hardware/
Once you remove the inner liner during the split, they are not as rigid. These help hold the fender onto the body much firmer then the plastic clips.

I did this as well... I split my fenders and got a bunch of their clips in black. You have to install rivnuts, but the end result is a much firmer connection, and they're removable with an allen wrench. I've been very happy with them. I installed AAL's fender liners, which came with a handful , and then ordered extras (which you can do separately) to replace the remaining clips so they'd all match. I did not know the liners came with some, so I ended up over ordering. Learn from my mistake!

Hahaha! Same thing happened to me. I got the front and rear liners and didn't know that the rear liners would come with all the rivnuts and black clips. Oh well, plenty of extras!
