I really like the bumpers that AEV had on their concept vehicle, as well as the color. Always thought that the ZR2 bumper looked weird.
If they do an overland version in some cool colors, I think it would sell. Especially if they remain fairly competitive in cost. I believe if their cost crept up to what the JT might be, then most would opt for a JT over the Colorado.

Finally warm enough yesterday to just take the Freedom top off the JK. Reminded me why I wanted the JT so much, and that was only the Freedom Top.
No doubt the JT with its suspension will be king over the rest, for the low speed wheeling. While the ZR2 and the Ranger Raptor, will be dominant in the high speed Desert stuff. It comes down to what you want to do with the vehicle and if other models fit your needs.

But I want it ALL! Love the Sandstorm concept. I'm way more of a high speed off road guy, but those other poseurs still don't cut it. Give me a JT with a long arm suspension!

Yeah, me too - cake, eating, the whole bit. I think the JT will be a great truck, but while a SFA is the right call for crawling, they're pretty vulnerable at speed. There's a reason those high speed Baja 1000 and KOH runners are equipped with long travel IFS setups.
Personally, given the rock-crawling compromises that have already by making the JT as long as it is, I wouldn't mind an IFS JT. I'm not likely to lift it more than 3", and IFS can be designed with clearance in mind if that's your goal...

Im actually a fan of IFS as I don't crawl rocks and I too would rather blast up fire roads at speed then crawl my way through a rock garden. Also as a overlander I think IFS offers better on road manners which makes it easier to live with day to day.
That ZR2 Bison is tempting as hell. Motor trend is reporting it really happening and will be priced around $45K without the bed rack and snorkel: http://www.motortrend.com/news/chevrolet-colorado-zr2-aev-concept-production/
but could be optioned up to $50K as AEV will offer additional parts. $50K all done and ready to rock is really tempting.
Still want to see what the JT pricing is really going to come out at, as well as what pricing & when the Ranger Raptor will come.

At that price point, it would be very tempting as well for my likes. I agree that I am still holding out to see JT pricing. Gives me a good while to increase my down payment, or afford some accessories once the time comes.

I don't believe its been mentioned, but the full size Raptor can be bought for 55k at the lowest near me. The lowest end Raptor is still very optioned out.
Jeep better be careful and keep the price very similar to the JL. When building a JL (without diesel), I'm getting close to 55k.

Not to mention that Ram is coming out with a Raptor competitor most likely at the LA Auto show this year, so they will be competing with their own Ram line up.
