Jeep gladiator willys rock rails + step?

Anyone install steps or nerf bars in addition to the stock rock rail sliders? or is it necessary to take them off? I dont mind them, my mom just has a hard time getting in when i have to drive her places

If you have nerf bars under your rock rails... the rock rails wont do much.

If you want factory, i think they all mount up the same way so you need to pick one or the other.

if you are ok with aftermarket, I am pretty sure that there are slider/ steps out there. I am not in the market for those but i;m sure others could chime in with options... or go and search/read all you can in this sub forum.

Your post is old but did you solve your problem? If it's just for your mom why not just have a folding stool that you can easily stow under a seat. I used to volunteer for elder services and used such a stool. My Jeep had 33's and a 2.5 inch lift. They loved riding in it especially with the top open. Well, most of them did.
