Why? Full float axles can support more load, not less.

A slightly longer bed would be nice IF AND ONLY IF they set the rear axle back about a foot more. As it currently sits virtually everything you put in the bed is behind the rear axle instead of in front of it for better stability and possibly better towing (with the I6 of course
