What are your guys thoughts on the older EJS Red Rock Responder Concept froma few years back?

How cool would it be if someone built bed extension tool boxes similar for the Gladiator and still had the bed rack rails. Would make a great setup for overlanding and still keep the bed empty and open and the ability to attach a roof top tent.

Only thing is the blind spot would be huge.

I partially like it, partially don't. Really don't like the giant rear whatever that's called. Not a bumper, not a tailgate, just a huge rear panel. I think I prefer the current bed + half gate setup for fitting stuff back there. I'll build a drawer system to hold that stuff that's in the side boxes of the rescue.

All that being said, I do look forward to seeing what others do with the new Gladiator platform.

It’s actually a hidden drawer set up.
So it’s a tailgate with hidden storage

Oh much more clever, I hadn't ever looked too hard at this concept... I was busy drooling over the Crew Chief.

Yeah I love the crew chief as well, and the Africa. Jeep puts a lot of R&D into these concepts to see the reactions. And then they make parts of this to production. That drawer setup is actually a basis of an option for the Gladiator. Which is pretty cool to see the amount of things over the years from different concepts that made it into the JT.

I wouldn't be shocked if companies offered tool box kits like that for for the JT.

The Ridgeline style slope? Even Honda scrapped that.
