It rings hollow when we have a President that pretends the GOP doesn't exist. He is more anti-unification than Trump. He's decided he's right and if you don't agree with him, you don't exist. Nevermind that 70 million voted for the other guy while the current President repeated over and over again that he would represent both sides because he's incoherent and that's all he could think of saying. That ad makes me want to sell my jeep and buy a Toyota. I'm surprised he hasn't signed an executive order eliminating the Republican party.
You are so close to being called a racist, nazi so on and such. Unite now you nazi:asshat:

I don’t care if you are a Republican or Democrat; liberal or conservative, extremist or moderate; but if you even consider selling your Jeep to buy a Toyota, you’re dead to me.

As a foreigner (Canadian) I watched this and was struck by what I perceive to be the message exactly needed at this time. No one can doubt the US is a nation divided at this point in its history. And I’m not talking Red vs Blue.
I could delve into all the politics of that opinion but I won’t interfere in your viewpoints.
Perhaps a different presentation with the same message would be received as, I think, intended.

Interesting perspective from the outside looking in.

Well I'm sure FCA would rather people argue about this commercial than talk about the $30M they owe for bribing UAW leadership. And some of you think capitalism is dead....

I don’t really care what anyone’s political affiliation is. I didn’t buy my Jeep because of a commercial. Like my wife, I got her for the way she rides and what she’d do off-road. And nobody broke her in before me. 😂🤣😂
At least to your knowledge. LOL

The hypocrisy of your diatribe is mind-boggling.

I like the Canadian’s POV, honestly this commercial speaks to both sides, knock it off. I mean knock it off in the sense that this is a good Country and many have paid the ultimate price to keep it here for us. The few on the far left and on the far right give fodder for the news media’s ratings. That’s it, nothing more, who ever decided a 24 hour news cycle was a good thing?!

Why let those few tell the rest of (THE MAJORITY) us in the middle, left or right, that our voice is canceled. Hardly, make sure you keep voting and pay attention to your local politicians. That is where the difference will be made. DC and the News Media has gone mad and we all need to sober them up.

A simple Jeep, in the middle of nowhere, in the cold, top down (always looks so damn good!), with a lonely common man. Jeep didn’t put this commercial in the Big City with a Wrangler EV, and a dressed up Hollywood Star... did they.

Watched it with no sound, it was blah. Read the thread, watched it with sound. What bothered me was 'the very soil we stand on is common ground'. Sounds very socialist to me.
I have spent many years of blood sweat and tears to get what I have today. When I walk out my back door, that is my soil I am standing on.
Thank you to those who served so that I might have my soil.
Oh stop. If promoting togetherness and common ground is going to be read as the socialist boogeyman we are all fkked.

Oh wow. Wow oh wow. Biden has been in office 18 days. The last guy was literally the worst, most hard headed, obstinate, infantile prick that has ever been in office in at least a century. He spent 4 years throwing tantrums on Twitter and doing literally whatever he wanted because he felt he could.

Biden is going to do what he can to work with the gop, but the gop is in such inner turmoil there really isn't a gop to work with to speak of. It's a haphazard trainwreck of traditionalists and conspiracy theorists with very little common ground among themselves to even come to the table and have a voice with.

The shambles the gop is in is going to be a bigger roadblock than anything in working for solutions. They controlled all 3 chambers of the government and still managed to shut the government down over internal disagreements.

And it doesn't matter if 70M voted from the other guy, all it takes is 70,000,0001 to win (which of course with the antiquated electoral college isn't accurate, but if we're counting votes, +1 is all it takes).

And last I checked, 81M is bigger than 74M anyways. So there is that too.
