Got a surprise box in the mail from Jeep today after purchasing my new JT back in February. Consisted of coupons for a service and Mopar parts and a paint touch up pen.

I heard the box rattling and was hoping it was a nice key chain or something.

Lithia. Funny thing is, I’m still waiting on my new tags though. My temporary one expired about a month ago now.

Waiting for them to come in so I can go swap them out at DMV for my personalized ones.

Keep poking the bastards. They like taking their time. Took me less time to order and recieve personalize plates through Alaska DMV than it took for Anchorage CDJR to recieve my originals.

As long as your vehicles VIN was registered in Alaska, you can go ahead and order your personalized plates online, as far as I know. Mine only took a month to come in, and they gave me a temp tag to print out for my window. Just don't use the UMV.

On a side note I reached out to CDJR again this morning and actually spoke to somebody after trying 4 different numbers and multiple phone trees.

The assholes changed their procedures and order plates to the dealership now, not mailed to home address. (In the past they have turned up in my mailbox.)

So apparently they came in, but then they forgot to call me to tell me they had them. So I’ll go pick them up later on. Ugh.

I’ll be taking my Jeep to 5th Avenue when it needs dealership services, etc. CDJR are so useless.

Yeah that’s pretty much the most accurate “Jeep surprise box” experience
Rattling hope → keychain, swag, maybe something cool… reality → coupons and a touch-up pen. At least the Mopar pen will actually come in handy the first time a branch sneezes on the paint. Still kinda funny they ship it like it’s a gift set when it’s really just “future service reminders in a box.”
