The 700 is smaller and yep, not really a looker. The Rampage is the larger unibody trucklet and it very closely resembles its bigger brothers.

That’s way better and much better looking. It looks a lot better than the Maverick and the Santa Cruz too. Both are UGLY IMO. I was behind a Santa Cruz today waiting for breakfast. Terrible.

I'm not speculating lol, I've been waiting for two years for this thing to launch, it and it's platform mate are a huge deal for my company.
Platform mate?

Those little car based trucks seem to be popular in a lot of countries with old narrow city streets reminds me of a compact version of El Caminos and rancheros. Those employees being given those cross between the pieces of a high visibility safety vest, a harness for fall protection and suspenders to hand out orders got my attention. I would probably offer them real reflective safety vests or shirts if i drove through there more then once.

For those of you still speculating and guessing, it has been confirmed that it will be a stretched 2 dr "wrangler" platform with an SRT base and IFS. It and the Gladiator will both have the front end design of the convoy concept from the J series trucks. That is confirmed by several sources at this point. I would assume it will be very similar to the Scrambler392 concept

The IFS part baffles me if the Scrambler will truly be Wrangler frame based. Why spend the money to re-engineer the front suspension just for the Scrambler unless…
Oh no…
Please no…
It can’t be…
For the love of God, please oh please don’t let the next generation Wrangler have IFS!

I think Jeep could easily have a SFA and an IFS built off the same frame. Stellantis North America is going bold and the 2030 plan shows it!

Absolutely no interest in an IFS vehicle. If I’d wanted one I would have gone for a 4Runner or an older Land Cruiser. Maybe a V8 Sequoia. If the Scrambler is going to be IfS they can keep it. Until someone wrecks one and it ends up at the scrap yard and I can put a solid axle on it and correct things. Hopefully it will be body on frame and not a Unibody.

It’s been confirmed that the next gen gladiator and Dakota will share a platform so it’s definitely possible.

If the next gen was IFS, I’d still strongly consider it. When I lived in CO, I wheeled both hard and it’s not as big of a difference as it used to be. Modern IFS vehicles can be very capable. It’s not unlikely to happen with the Bronco on pace to outsell the Wrangler this year.

It’s unnecessary there. It’s probably an insurance formality. It’s a Chick-fil-A drive through and good visibility. The funny part of that pic is the look the girl is giving the guy. He was apparently new and didn’t seem to understand anything she was telling him.

I would also consider (actually prefer) an IFS on the right application. Honestly, I don't think Jeep is going to abandon the SFA in the Wrangler Rubicon. My hope is that Jeep is expanding platforms to attract different buyers. There very well could be a mix of IFS and SFA vehicles. Jeep is showing the Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited, Wrangler Gladiator, and Wrangler Scambler as 4 different vehicles. The Scambler will have its own unique chassis!
