Mersinery,

I'm on the Eastern Shore also and had my spray in bed liner done by these guys https://performancecoatingsdmv.com/ $530 and it took about 3 hours. They did a nice job and were just 70 miles from me (I'm in DE near Bethany Beach) I just got my Sport S about 3 weeks ago

Thanks for the recommendation! How do you like their bedliner? I got quoted from linex for $490 in Salisbury. I did a quick lookup on different types of spray in bedliners and linex seems to be the most common, along with rhino. But I read that Ultimate Linings is what car manufacturers are using for their bedliners and are supposed to be the premium choice. I dont know how or if that article was biased in anyway, but when I had an F150, linex was more than I needed but wouldnt mind going to performance coatings if the material/spray they use is better with only a slight increase in price.

So far its pretty nice. The color and thickness is consistent and they masked everything off really well. I don't haul cinder blocks or scrap metal (just camp and fishing stuff)so I think it will be fine. They are in Delaware so no sales tax...

I have the factory liner in mine. I ended up buying a rubber mat for the bed anyways because things would still slide around (even with a cargo bar blocking everything from sliding forward of the wheel wells). Plus, when ever I put my hard sided luggage back there (I also have the factory tonneau) it would get scratched by the roughness of the bed liner so...the rubber mat solved both problems. Plus when I haul something dirty, just pull the mat out and shake it off or rinse with the garden hose.

That was something I experienced when I had an f150 with linex. Things would slide around and had to end up getting a rubber mat, only thing was that that it was too thick and heavy. I'll probably see if there is a thin rubber mat that just keeps things from sliding around...doesnt need to be heavy duty or anything.

My buddy just had his 4.88s done this week with these guys. He's a repeat customer

OMG! ? :surprised: $360 to do a F&R differential inspection and gear oil swap is CRAZY expensive.

Anybody thinking to do this - do yourself a favor and shoot me a PM and we can easily do this in my garage (I have a 4 post lift in my 5 car garage) & save yourself some serious cash.

I'm close to the NAS Patuxent River Navy base in St Mary's county.

Well, considering most dealerships are charging around $180/hour for labor, it stands to reason. Heck, even my travel trailer dealership charges $175/hour for labor.

Worst part is that the mechanics probably only see around $30-$35/hour of that...

Yep, its highway robbery to charge that much IMO.

I *think* my local dealership is ~$125 hr, and their mechanics paid ~$40-$51 hr

Agreed, 3 bottles of Royal Purple 75w90 is like $60 and about 1.5 hours of your time and you'll know its done right

I'm hoping to do this one later this week. Took 2 weeks off from work and spent all of last week too damn sick to do anything.

Hi Marylanders

Picked up a 2023 Gladiator Mojave in December. Wasn’t looking to make a change so soon, but my old truck was simply becoming too unreliable and parts expensive and hard to find. This opportunity came up and I made the jump.

Pretty basic Mojave, 6MT, hard top, no other extras, though I wanted the aux switch set.

No immediate changes planned, the Mojave is about exactly what I wanted, but at some point when it warms up I’ll figure out a way to transplant the winch. Not a huge fan of the factory bumper, but I really dislike most of the ‘apocalyptic’ bumpers as my brother calls them.

Had 13 years in H3’s, and they are a lot of fun, but mine had electrical gremlins I just got tired of fixing
