Got home from hunting tonight and Santa came more than a month early at my house. I just want my damn jeep. I just need shocks now and I’ll be all set.

Haha it was fed ex, which I’m shocked it was even on time. I never have good luck with them, yet I am still waiting on one box. Which according to the tracker it’s in Philly.Wow, your UPS crew treats your stuff well. Neatly stacked.
Yeah, really surprised at FedEx then. They usually drop kick my stuff or let it fall off the truck, kicking it all the way to the door.Haha it was fed ex, which I’m shocked it was even on time. Hi folks, I just stumbled across this thread and the above peaked my interest. So trying to round this group up and garner interest................assuming all works out, who wants to do a new years ride/trail adventure? Or maybe a mod meet, meet up at someone's house and work on the Jeeps (I have a well stock garage/beer and tools). I used to do the meets/cruises or mod meets in my Chevy Colorado Chapter... it was always a good time.
Saying all of that, I know we all have families, life and work to work around.....but a break from the daily grind is always great.

Once I order my JT and get a approx. delivery date I will be more active in trying to round up the members for fun stuff. We work to hard to not take a couple hour break to enjoy the fruits of our labor!
I miss my ‘89 YJ that I had in Hawaii. ? The wife wanted me to sell it because we always got wet asses when it rained…., but other than that she loved it. ? I only had a bikini top on it. I bought it when I was an E-2, sold it when I made E-5. ? Fast forward…..2018….she factory ordered a JLU Sahara and wants nothing more than to have to top and doors off all summer. ?Hi folks, I just stumbled across this thread and the above peaked my interest.
I'm a SoCal Jeeper transplant where my San Diego CA home was often the meet up/mod design/ install place on many occasions when we weren't out wheeling.
I live down south in St. Mary's county near the NAS Patuxent River Navy Base.
I have a garage with a 4 post lift, 220V welder, plasma cutter blah blah blah. I use to build custom Jeeps fulltime when I lived in SoCal.
I'm interested in wheeling with either my '21 JT Mojave, or my '91 YJ once I put it back together.
That, or a meet & greet would be fine too and I'm not opposed to gathering at my house where there's plenty of parking.
This is the Mojave shortly after I bought it, and my YJ sitting on top of my 2015 kitty.

Nice! My younger son spent 5 years in HI while in the Navy.I miss my ‘89 YJ that I had in Hawaii. ? I was an Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6) in the Navy stationed aboard my second ship (USS Lake Champlain CG-57). I've had it a little over 26 years and have put 86K+ HARD off-road miles on it, mostly in SoCal desert/Johnson Valley Hammers Trails. It's been a trailer queen since 1999.I was a 2nd Class Quartermaster out of Philadelphia. I was running the Nav team when the USS Thomas Gates (CG-58) came to Philly for her commissioning ceremony. My Dad was the Delaware River Pilot who was there for 'just in case' as he was well versed in the Navy way of coming into port. Plus, he knew I knew what I was doing. The CO and officers on the bridge were impressed with how I handled the Nav team. They said it was usually Chiefs or Senior Chiefs but a 2nd class? I got a nice letter of recommendation out of that one ?I was an Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6) in the Navy stationed aboard my second ship (USS Lake Champlain CG-57).
Thanks for yours as well. Thanks for your and your sons service ???

) and recently moved in with me at 86 years young. He served in the Korean War and was part of a SEAL Team in the Vietnam War stationed on a riverboat on the Mekong Delta. Talk about an old timer.Hi folks, I just stumbled across this thread and the above peaked my interest.

I grew up on KI, and was just out that way for the holiday...I love that bay. Being out there near the water always gets me re-energized and feeling centered.I would deff be interested in catching up! If nothing else to bs and check out your set up! If we get something together where we all meet up every now and then I would be more then glad to have you guys and your family’s over! We live on the upper bay on the Water so maybe a cook out and the kids can swim and play in the water. Also have kayaks and the like!
