Nothing major...lowered my headlights so I would stop murdering people with these LEDs. Ill drive around with them for a few days to see if I'm happy with the new height.

Installed my new Adams Front Driveshaft, 1310 with a buddy last week. Overall, not a bad experience. I think the hardest part was tightening up the bolts for the new flange going into the transfer case. It was a little annoying going in and out of 4Hi and Neutral to allow us to rotate the driveshaft to reach all of the bolts (for loosening and tightening). I think because of that, I bunched up the gears a bit and got stuck in 4hi at the end. No worries though, once I got off the lift and rolled around a little bit, she popped right back into 2wd.

Got out for a little shakedown run at a nearby BOH, Peter's Mill Run. Not a difficult trail at all...and not very long either. We ended up spending more time on the highway to/from than the trail itself. Nonetheless, it was great to get out and about, earn a badge, and enjoy the area!

The used Patagonias I got (5 for $600) had come up on the end of their life. They did great while I had them, and gave me a taste of not only a M/T, but a 37 as well. After some digging aorund on the internet, I found what I wanted to replace them with...either General Grabbers ATX, or the Yokohama Geolandar X-AT.

I wanted the Grabbers...but man, I could not find them ANYWHERE. So choice number two!

First off, I wanted to stay 37, but change to an AT. I have had the Jeep for about a year, and have taken it on the trails 4 times...so if that continues to be the trend, then M/T's arent for me. Also, I wanted more traction on the road in the rain, and a little less road noise. Well, first impressions, the Yoko's are silent as a ninja compared to the Patagonias. The ride is so much smoother with the A/T as well. So, right off the bat, I'm pretty thrilled. We are supposed to have a ton of rain this weekend into the week, so Ill see about that when it comes.

I'll see how I like them as I continue to ride with them, and will provide any updates if anything substantial comes up!

I have an event this weekend, Crawling for K9s, and have been running around to get a few things taken care of.

My wheels are not in stock currently, so instead of getting a 5th to work into rotation, I just got a cheap steelie as a spare.

Then, based on forum feedback on skids, grabbed some Rustys skid plates for the rear LCA frame side connection. Got those put on with a buddy, took about an hour, with no major issues.

So all is well on my end...I'll take some pictures of the trip!

Damn, I wanted to go to the crawling for k9s, but I’m on call all weekend for work. Rausch also has a toys for tots in November. But looks like it’s 250? Idk if I’m paying that. But I think that was Friday and Saturday. It’s through savage off-road I think? Wonder if they just offer Saturday instead of both days?

I would love to get up there again after this...one of the BoH trails we aren't hitting this go around.

We should work on linking up and getting out there! Maybe Minty will have his Jeep by then!

I'm hoping so.

I have everything for it minus gears in the garage and ready to go

I meant to post a bit earlier, but life happens!

I attended the Krawling for K9's event a few weeks ago, and had a blast. I was very nervous at first, since I have only taken the Jeep onto the trails twice before. I had signed up with the Blues/Black group, and that added to some of my dread. Fortunately, we had a fantastic guide, and the Jeep did great! I had to hit rear lockers on two of the trails, and the long body of the Gladiator had me making a few more turns than the others, just to get around some trees.

Enjoy some pictures!
