I got my queen naked today… well her pinch seams… putting on some better rocker protection with the metalcloak over line rocker rails… definitely beef and the install isn’t too bad.

I guessed I should elaborate my above posts… I needed a break from time and space. So I grabbed my queen and treated myself (and her) to a fun filled adventure to Moab. Granted she did allot of work, we all had fun. Went the start of the 3rd week of May and we hit a few trails With family and friends.

My queens last day of fun filled trails in Moab, she took me to metal masher along the Gemini bridges trail. Had a blast and now it’s my official favorite Moab trail. It was just me and my best friend… so not slot of outside shots. Hope you enjoy.

My lady wanted a better way to interact with me…. Enter the 392 steering wheel upgrade. I wish she asked for it earlier! Thank you to all that pioneered this upgrade!

Another thank you to @Aberk for the help for the right color match thread coloring. The red is a great match…. Oh yeah point of the post…. I colored my steering wheel from bronze to red. Super easy to do… just time and patience.

Well it finally happened… I went wheeling on a trail, decided to do something dumb and I hurt my queen.

I was in a rock garden and going over some bigger rocks on the passenger side to avoid the little bit smaller big rocks in the middle, mind you it’s been raining for ten minutes prior… I got up over the big rock on the right and it got all the way up on my gas tank skid… well since I didn’t have any traction in the rear for a moment … my queens butt wiggled and shifted… bamm!!! Rock I was trying to avoid goes right in between my muffler and drive shaft. A couple of moments of rocking back and forth( yep dumb)… I had to pull out my winch. I got everything secured and got myself out but the damage is done. The exhaust was just hanging and I was lucky enough to only had clamped it on, that it pulled itself out at the muffler break…. the rear driveshaft… well it tore the boot and had a fat reduction. Gah.

Was able to drive the hour home but did notice that I had a vibration due to the driveshaft and anything over 3k and throttle input is louder than crap… I’m already looking into replacements but definitely gonna be a week till I get it all in and installed… oh man… my queen isn’t happy lol
