Hello eveyone name is chris! and this is my first post! I Just got a 2020 JTR and im in the very beginning of my build i have not done much at all yet except change and replace fluids and cleaning while planning my build. jeep is completely stock right now. and wanted to bounce some of my ideas off you guys. this is my first jeep. My background prior was a fist gen toyota build with a 77 2wd body swap on 37s with dual cases and the works.

phase 1 is what im calling a solid base.
38in 12.50 17 nitto ridge grapples load c
dirtylife black mesa beadlocks with 3.5in back spacing -38 offset (going wider because of the taller lift)
rock krawler 4.5in adventure no limits lift with the tri 4link (going taller because of the long belly on the JT)
rk lift pared with bilstein 5100s(going with the tried and true upgrade later)
rock krawler HD steering and draglink flip kit
synergy steering box and selector shaft brace
adams driveshaft 1350s front and rear
5.13 gears with some upgraded diff covers

phase2 relentless offroad front and rear bumpers
rustys rock sliders or other weld on.( i want some with kickout)
badlands apex winch
rustys belly skids
front axle truss and some trussing made in the rear that will work with the 4link cradle
rcv shafts
rear chromoly shafts
beefy ball joints like dynatrac or synergy
synergy steel knuckles

phase 3 would be the metal cloak bedrack and spare tire mount
recovery gear like high lift, toe straps, and im sure a bunch of other stuff im leaving out.
falcon shocks idk the model? the adjustable ones

let me know what you think. i just got the tires and wheels from trail built. pretty awesome they just arrive at your house and huge! i had to double check and make sure there weren't 40s lol and the RK lift and steering synergy brace are in the mail already

Your phase 1 and 2 are similar to my setup. I drive it cross country, wheel the snot out of it and drive it home,

I love The Metalcloak lift. Smooth, quiet and flexes like a rock buggy.

Ok first upgrade has been installed the synergy brace. fitment was ok had to mess with torquing order slightly to get it to work and all the holes to line up. seems like synergy's tolerances are +/- .125 lol it went on pretty easy only took a small chunk out of my pinky.

The steering definitely feels tighter. It was pretty good for what it was all stock but the brace took it to a sports car level feel.

id recommend this brace so far. make sure you have a beast of an impact to get the pitman arm nut off! My ryobi with 1170ftlbs break away struggled a bit and ive never seen this tool flinch before.

I have the rock krawler adventure-x no limits long arm suspension kit on mine and love it. I just installed the American Iron Ball Joint Deletes on mine and it made a huge difference and the tech support is amazing from the company. It sounds like a pretty solid build. Depending on how tall you end up you might look at the RSE rock sliders but you would need to get the bash guards with them and the door delete kit so you can turn them off when you are wheeling. I know they are expensive but they make a huge difference getting in and out of the JT once it is lifted. I have bashed mine on a lot of things including tree trunks, boulders at the Rubicon and they have never dented or had any issues. They stick out a decent amount as well.

anyone messed with the torque converter at all? was wondering how the stock one is for crawling and if it would be a big benefit to do about +100 rpm stall rate bump?

Yeah, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them from a reputable company. It really comes down to your preference. I just throwing the RSE out there as mine had the Motobilt ones that have the rocker guard and steps on it but it got really tiring get in and out of it without steps so I eventually switched them out but I also have 3 rods in my hip which doesn't help.

Thanks, I would like to credit for it but I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and purchased it already built from someone else. I have put my own touch on it though and changed a few things on it.

A quick and super easy way to gain exhaust clearance. I cut it right at the muffler and welded on a $10 turn down tip from AutoZone. keeping the first resonator its not really loud and is very quiet at cruising speeds. But man you can really hear how hard that v6 is actually working on small hills or getting on it. makes your realize how heavy the JT is when you make it a bit louder.
