So I traded in for a stock 22 rubicon, I wanted a rubicon but I don’t like the look of the stock down tilt and 33’s. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I want 35s and to have a wide tire look. Like where the tires stick out of the fender flares by an inch or so. What do I need to achieve this? Could I just level the front with a spacer and buy wider wheels? I’m guessing a wider wheel is needed for it to stick out correct? Would that rub? I’m excited but also new to all this. Help to get in the right direction would be appreciated

You are going to have trade offs in everything you are wanting to do since your are going for an aesthetic look.

Okay, well maybe I don’t lol. But if I get let’s say 11.5 35s is the 1 inch spacer up front plenty? I get it Sunday, and I’m excited so I’m trying to already start ordering things

Step 1: Get door hinge protectors. ie. Rock Stopperz.

Then you need something like this: Teraflex Jeep Gladiator 1.50-Inch Performance Spacer Leveling Kit 1155300 (20-24 Jeep Gladiator JT) - Free Shipping (extremeterrain.com)

My opinion: Keep your 35s no wider than 12.5". Some tire companies make a 11.5". Don't go sticking them out way past the fender. You'll slowly ruin your paint, hinges, and fling debris at everyone behind you. If you go with a 11.5"tire you can use them on the stock Rubicon wheels safely. If you get a 12.5" tire it is not recommended to use the stock wheels for safety but people do it anyway.

You'll be level. Then when you actually use the truck bed you'll get the "Carolina Squat" if you load it down and your headlights will be airborne.

Regardless of which tires and wheels you end up with, do yourself and the people behind you a favor and get a set of quality front and rear mud flaps wide enough to cover the tires. The ones I use are RokBlokz but several companies make them and they will help keep your new Jeep looking better longer

To achieve what you’re asking:

1.5 Teraflex front spacer kit
Any 35 tires
negative offset wheels

KEEP your stock wheels and tires. Great for state inspections, resale and when you decide you aren’t happy with what you’ve done to the Jeep ?.

35's X 12.5 on stock rims without leveling kit. I have a teraflex 1.5 kit ready to put on. Slight rubbing when you crank the wheels hard, just don't crank them hard!

I used this leveling kit and 2 inch hub centric spacers. Kept stock wheels and run 11 1/2 wide Nitto trail grapplers. Looks good and works great.

You should be good with 35’s. What type of suppression do you have.

not if he adjusts his headlights LIKE HE SHOULD.

OP I have 2.5” up front to make it truly level and 35x12.5 on stock wheels. They don’t rub.

add a washer to the steering stop stud and you won’t have this issue.
