I spec’ed out a JT/R in a manual. This was back in Jan 2023. Ya I know clutch plate recall yet have had 0 notification from Jeep as to a status. What I’m also annoyed about is that they screwed me over on the color I wanted. I ordered an Earl grey and now can’t get the color due to the delay. Their response was basically chose another color not our problem. More to it but in a nutshell. So after many months of 0 info I canceled the JT order.

Some real good deals on 2023's on lots right now-- but better to go to jeep's web site and 'view inventory' to search from there, then 'view at dealers' site... some dealers aren't showing all incentives since the UAW strike started (Thursday) yet, some dealers still show the 15-20% off incentives on 2023 glad's.

I’m surprised but happy/encouraged to see this! I was curious what the UAW strike would mean for us with MY23 orders. Being that they accepted and confirmed your order right as the strike was starting, I’d say that’s as decent of confirmation as any that there is some hope that they intend to fill MY23 orders (Albeit eventually)

My fear is that this strike goes the distance, they make the flip to MY24 and my MY23 Punk’n over Steel Gray interior order gets “cancelled” by them. Not sure if this could or would happen, purely speculation on my part. I’d also be fine if they want to build me a MY24 as long as it’s in the color combo I ordered (and with the incentives I secured)… there’s a wish lmao!

My order was confirmed and VIN issued 8/22. Was hoping to get scheduled before the strike, but that didn’t happen. Now I have zero expectation that it’ll be scheduled until the strike is over whenever that is.

Well this is a surprise, went D1 last Friday! With the strike going on, I stopped my daily status checks figuring there was NO way it was going to move. Decided this morning to check just for haha's and to my surprise I saw it was now marked as scheduled!

That said, if I'm being honest, I'm still scratching my head a bit as to how this could be possible with seemingly no end in sight on the strike, but I'm happy for now none the less. Good start for a Monday!!

Anyone else have any order movement?

Well this is a surprise, went D1 last Friday! With the strike going on, I stopped my daily status checks figuring there was NO way it was going to move. Decided this morning to check just for haha's and to my surprise I saw it was now marked as scheduled!

That said, if I'm being honest, I'm still scratching my head a bit as to how this could be possible with seemingly no end in sight on the the strike, but I'm happy for now none the less. Good start for a Monday!!

Anyone else have any order movement?

Nope! No movement. I'm still sitting in Final Inspection going on almost 2 weeks.

Thanks. I'll have to talk to the dealer. JeepTracker hasn't done a check for mine in 7 days so it can't send me an email (yet). It's only because of the actual jeep.com tracking that I was able to manually check.

The JeepTracker.com site was checking everytime I refreshed the browser but it stopped and never shows a new check anymore. Anyone have that issue?

Mine stopped checking and never started working again until after I got my Jeep. I got it to work one more time by inputting my info in fresh as if weren't already in the system. That trick only worked the one time, so I was in the dark until the day the dealer notified me it was in.

Yes, the official Jeep site kept updating even after Jeeptracker failed me. So it wasn't a shared database failure if that's what you're wondering.

The official site doesn't have any step after Shipped though, other than the Estimated Delivery date. The ED did update with a date, but eventually changed to a non-helpful TBD, which didn't change even after delivery.

Mine took about a month after shipped to be delivered.

Yeah it is hit or miss with jeep tracker.com...only way i have got it to work consistently is to use the back link and put the VON and Name info back in and use the check your jeep status link.

Another site that seems to be more reliable for checking ...at least to me is

P.S. Someone please tell Stellantis and UAW to figure this shit out...... as the factory jeep tracker just added...

I know it is in JS status (storage) at the factory lot since around 18 Apr... last change to the sheet was to add the 573 recall code in the middle of May. It wont move to KZ until they finish the recall. I have a pile of items to install but are just taking up space in the house right now.

Plus the 2011 JKU is really on it's last leg now..... Has the overdrive shudder if I don't put tow haul button on at 37mph and now has a internal head gasket leak when it gets warm on middle left cylinder. Have to take fluid from the overflow tank and add back to the radiator every day before I take it to work . Its not losing coolant and not contaminating the oil system just a tiny steam leak in the head gasket area is pushing out about 4-6 oz of air/steam into the overflow coolant tank every 50 miles or so. Once it cools off it seems to seal up again.

Still has pressure in the system when I release lever on the radiator cap as part of my morning top up procedure. I know this was one of the 3.8 v6 that had the crap ton of sand in the heater core passages from the factory castings. I probably flushed a couple of cups of sand out after the first heater core failure lol.

210k miles on it now so not worth it to sink a lot of cost into the jeep. I was scheduled to get the new jeep in May but the recall reset the delivery calendar for me lol.

Is this the waitingforjeep.com tracker? It looks like mine but mine doesnt have the option codes configured like that. They are in a table with no option to change it.
