I have a baaaad feeling about mine. Ordered 5/2, got the VON - still no VIN, no nothing. Last time around I had a VIN by this time. I have to wonder though if they don't work them in in order of dealer status and volume. Dunno, but first time went quickly, this time not so fast.
You ordered 5 days after I did and have a VIN.
Oh, well - I still have this one!

Ordered mine on 4-24, VON on 4-25, VIN on 5-4. You'll be just fine. My last order taught me a lot about patience--covid, plant shut-down, MT debacle, etc. It was over 5 months from order to delivery.

It is my understanding that your ship date is actually the date it will be built. I could be wrong though.

Just joined - first post! I've been waffling over a Gladiator purchase for the better part of two years, and finally took the plunge this weekend. Got quotes from several of the "go-to" dealers including Gupton Motors in TN, Koons Tysons Corner VA, Chapman in Horsham PA, plus my two closest dealers.

Ultimately ordered from Chapman Jeep in Horsham. 3% under invoice advertised plainly on their website, incredibly responsive to emails, straightforward pricing w/ no additional fees. They ended up being within roughly ~$600 of Gupton when travel costs were taken into account - worth it for the lack of hassle. Order placed Saturday, 5/7. VON received immediately. Supposed to have VIN today, 5/9.

I waffled over every option (except auto, was never an option no matter how good it is). Power vs manual windows/locks, everything from Sport to Rubicon/Mojave, and every individual option. Ultimately - for me, going to Sport S inevitably sent me down the slippery slope of "why not just go with a Rubicon". With 2022 getting Android Auto/Carplay in the base models, that addressed my only necessity that wasn't available in the base 2021. I decided I'd embrace the basic nature of the vehicle, and celebrate the fact that I could still buy a dual solid axle, manual windows, manual locks, manual trans vehicle in 2022.

I've had a number of beater XJs, but this will be my first soft-top Jeep of any kind. I've had 80+ cars, 5 Miatas, dozens of VWs, some minivans, trucks, and the like. I'm pretty confident that the Gladiator is the culmination of what I'm looking for in a jack-of-all-trades version of everything I've owned. Manual, truck, convertible, solid back seat size for my kids (I'm tall, will be adding seat slammers to driver's seat immediately), tows enough for normal utility trailer needs - everything else is a bonus.

Exact same order as mine (although I added the soft top bag). My line of thinking was very similar to yours. I feel like Jeeps should be a bit spartan in nature. Toughest decision was between Snazz and Sarge.

My dealer said, "You know that's the base model Willys, right?" I told him I could roll a lot of windows for a few thousand dollars!

My estimated ship date was 4/30. That was the day if went to kz status. I guess everybody’s is different.

Just placed my order for a fully loaded 2022 Rubicon in Gobi through Gupton.

Ordered on 5/4, VON on 5/5. Still waiting on VIN. Was told 12-20 weeks for delivery. Hoping it will come sooner!

The blue bar has a "hamburger menu" button on the right end.
Click that - the 3 lines - and you'll see more. At the bottom of that area track new.
You have to have a VIN, though.
I tracked mine last time, in 2019, through the link above.

Thanks ShadowPapa, thats a shortcut to CryptoStckers.net. It shows you the factory “build sheet” and window sticker when they become available (and it did alert me by email) but that’s all. - no codes.

Ordered 4/20, Vin 4/22, Dealer updated on 5/6 with an estimated ship date of 6/1. Reading this and the JL order thread I honestly have no idea what to expect. At least the rail yard is local, so I can sit on the road with a set of binoculars when the time comes and drool a bit for that last week of transit.

According to that Gladiator order build and tracking post, we get the order status codes from the dealer.
I ordered mine on 3/4, estimated ship date of 4/15, then moved to 4/29, now no estimated date... I have VIN, and window sticker. I'm a little worried about what might have happened to mine. According to Jeep chat, it is in "shipping", but not "transport". Meaning it has not yet shipped but is ready to. I just emailed my dealer asking for the order status code. hopefully that will give a small amount more info to this picture. We will see...
