I ordered my 22 Ecodiesel Rubicon Gladiator on June 4, VIN assigned June 6, finally got my scheduled for production notice June 29 but no idea when that will start. But at least there is finally some movement. Probably won’t see this one till October
I hope they don’t take that long. Gas Rubicon confirmed on 6/14 and scheduled 6/22 with no movement since then.

My diesel Rubicon order was confirmed on June 9. Got the same June 29 scheduled date. I bet we see them in August.

That's a XXXX of a lot faster than mine.
Order confirmed May 2,
Scheduled June 3,
building phase June 23-27.
Shipped July 7, hopefully arrive July 11th.
Dealer called me at 8:15 this morning and said it was placed on a truck yesterday, July 7th, I can't recall the time.
He says they also have a Wrangler on the same truck headed this way.
He even had the name of the trucking company when he called me this morning with the news that he got a shipping notice.

Mine finally updated today, says shipped 6/2. One day after the built date.
That first "ship date" you get via that site is the date it's going into build. It's likely the date either the frame or the body are shipped from the frame vendor or the body vendor to the assembly plant. We've demonstrated several times, including with my 2020, that the original ship date was 1 day before the build date on the sticker - it's that way with most.

And now the dealer updated me with it actually shipped. So idk if the system is just that behind or it sat in storage for a month.
Trains. If a train is involved, it can take a very long time. Same dealer I bought my JT from says RAM trucks come via train into KC where they sit waiting for trucks to bring them up to DSM. He says they wait from weeks to months when they ship by rail.
Jeeps get here from Toledo by truck so I do expect to see mine next week. Ram trucks - he's still waiting on one from March.

The website had built status with a window sticker available a few days after the dealer reported it was completed. Just providing more data. It's a moot point, I still don't have it lol.

Thankfully the distribution center is local so the long wait should be on the train logistics and not a local carrier, and I'm not out west so here's to hoping for a quick trip.

Don't get too excited. My delivery window was 6/27-7/5, now it is TBD. It has been sitting in the Salt Lake City depot for 3 weeks!
Mine is probably with yours. My delivery date was 7/11 and now it is TBD. It arrived in Utah 6/22 and has been sitting there since. I'm picking up in Nampa, ID.

Having it just sitting in SLC is annoying! At least they are shipping them to Nampa now. hopefully we won't have to wait much longer.

Took delivery on Saturday, 15 weeks to the day from ordering. Added the Quadratec rails on Sunday and have a black ARE CX HD cap on order that should arrive in the next few weeks. Heading into the Sierra with the kids first week of August. Stoked.

I have those rails in my garage waiting for a Gobi to show up. Are they as easy as Quadratec video claims to be to install? How do you like them?

Yes, that video is pretty much spot on. I did have to hammer one of the brackets to get it to align with the body mount, but it only took a few swings. Other than that it was pretty straight forward. You'll definitely want an extra set of hands and something to raise it up to the height of your truck for the initial bolts.

Overall I like the look. I shopped around for awhile before settling on these. I was pretty enamored with the DV8 side steps but the reviews all mentioned that they didn't fit quite right and that the install was a bit of a pain so I went with these which look somewhat similar.

I was so torn between Gobi and Sarge. Can't wait to see yours with the same rails!

This waiting crap is getting pretty old. Sarge is a decent color too. If it was a little more olive instead of forest, I would have probably been really torn. Red was almost my color until they dropped Gobi.

I hear ya. Worst part for me was that it sat in Benicia for 16 DAYS after getting off the train. I drove past those lots 4 times during that period craining my neck each time trying to catch a glimpse from the bridge. The shipping all together took longer than the build. I totally thought I'd have it in time for my first summer trip to the Sierra, but at least I got to give my Tacoma one last adventure. Had it for 13 years so I guess it was a fitting send off for the old dog.

And now we wait.....arrived at the distributor today, whopping 25 minutes from the dealer.

Wait over. Picked it up yesterday, left my 2020 with dealer. They said they were going to prep it and get it certified and sell it as a Jeep certified pre-owned vehicle and they'd have no problem at all selling it as it's one of the cleanest used Jeeps they've gotten in.

Already have 100 miles on the new one less than 24 hours later.

Order tracking site still shows shipping as TBD LOL.
