Finally starting to do some mods that are worth posting. Put on my rugged ridge HD stubby that I got from Reno MD. Was debating on whether to get a new winch to put in it and whether to do the bull bar. All my friends said to do the bar so I did that. My dad wanted me to buy a new winch from hf. But I decided to pull my warn m8000 off my fj40. The winch control box hit the bar but I wasn't about to take the bumper off to take the bar off. So I made an extension to raise the box. I'll have to see if I can move the box to inside the hood or some place else. I might see if I can find some synthetic rope on sale.

So nice, I might see if I can find some synthetic rope on sale. I'm open to driving out of state, but love off roading with a purpose/destination, so a state park or somewhere with scenery would be awesome.

Did your existing JTR skid plate work with that RR Stubby bumper?
It did I had to trim for the fog lights and then for some of the bumper. It still a tight fit I could def trim more. As it stands I zip it up and it pulls to one side going up, but i havent stripped out a bolt yet. Most of the trouble is coming from pass front bolt.

Put the Laminx on yesterday. It is a thick film and is quite nice. I wish the diameter was a bit bigger though. Heres a video review I did on it.

Rob found a brand new badlands 12k synthetic rope on Facebook market place for me, I was able to snag it for 90 bucks and some general grabber 37s for spares since the Nevada trophy requires 2 full size spares.

Didn't realize that the synthetic would be so much thicker. The last 3 wraps are touching the cross bars on the warn. I think once I winch it to a tree it will compress it more hopefully. (I don't like it rubbing. I saved a total of 20 lbs going from roller and steel cable to synthetic and hawse! Every little bit helps with the rr heaviness. I am still debating whether or not to build an aluminum bumper.

So you know how I saved the weight by going to synthetic.... well I gained it all back by putting in this Synergy track bar lol. Took about 45 min to install. Directions spot on. Was able to move the axle .25 in to the passenger so now they're both. 25 in away from the fender. Time for a realignment as the wheel isn't centered anymore. :(

If you can do a that work, you can do an alignment by yourself. The only thing to adjust is to re-center the steering wheel and adjust the toe in for 37s. They're both quite easy to do. There is no caster or camber adjustment to be done on a solid axle rig

Today I finally got around to putting in the decked unit in the bed. Stupid me paid for line x premium should have just done the regular. Will probably miss the bed space and my rtt rack will have to be higher so I can fit my coolers on the deck which will mean the rtt will now sit higher than the roof which will let my mpgs and may cause buffering:(
