Women don't seem to have a problem with the size, mostly because they keep the fob in their purse. Suggestion for those men complaining of the fob size, get yourself a man purse, problem solved.🍿🍿🧂

I have a 21 and yes it sucked
Got a fob from threedom and it's great! Much happier with this vs original
The Threedom is the way to go in my opinion.I went with the one that does not hold the key,I just taped the key hidden somewhere on the Gladiator in case I ever need it.The Threedom fob is so light and small you don`t even know it is in your pocket.

I would have preferred a keyed ignition and door locks. Just 2 keys, no fob. Wasn’t an option though.

The Key fob with the exposed button to flip the key out./open is a major pain in the pocket.. Are you frustrated with the design of this key fob?
What cover have you purchased to limit or prohibit the opening of the Key without your input? BTW, it was modified design (at least for the 2023) The 2021 was worse.

I have a 2020 and carry only three keys, rarely ever have a problem.

My preference is to separate the key from the fob. The fob is carried loose in my pocket. The key is on the key ring.

The rationale is this:
The backseat, center console
and glove compartment can be key locked.
When leaving the Gladiator with a mechanic for service
or in a parking lot that has to keep your fob to shuffle cars
or when turning it over to a valet,
they get the fob.
You keep the key.

There may be things locked in there
one wants to remain locked in there.

And it also takes care of the awkward situation when one locks the Gladiator with the fob in it.
The key is in your pocket. Problem solved.

With the key on a key ring
there is plenty of leverage to turn the key.

Carried thusly, there is no need for a key sleeve. This technique can of course be used with the original fob by simply removing the key.

AJT Design has a slim lightweight fob that screws together instead of using fragile plastic clips. I love it.

I get that, understand it, and it makes perfect sense! However, more than one time they needed access to behind the glove box - the CANbus star connector area.
So I'd only suggest, with respect, that one considers - what might they honestly need access to......... for weird codes, it could come up.
But otherwise, absolutely for valet situations and so on, for sure - lock things and keep that key for yourself.
That's a great idea - keeps 'em from snooping at the very least.

I would have guessed you for the fanny pack type. Always surprising me Bill. 🤔
I always wondered - why was it called a fanny pack if you wore it on your gut?
Were we doing it backwards all those years ago?

It's a pain in the leg being bulky and the key button stuck out there for easy push access . The buttons could also of been sunken lower into the plastic to keep from easily activating the features just by rubbing against the steering wheel by entry or exiting the vehicle, especially the panic button. Not much thought was put into the ergonomics of the device. I have a 22 Cherokee with a much better smaller, thinner FOB with the same features.
