What is the premium for a launch edition if any in today’s market? Particularly for low mileage ones.

That was a gloomy thread.
The good thing is at least if you replace it with another vehicle, toy, camper the replacement will be cheaper across the board so you can work a deal and get something to even it out. If you can not get what it is worth to you keep it unfortunately it is not rare enough to demand a premium and they are turning out 50K of them a year.

Realistically it's probably just worth the kbb price for any other Rubicon for that year and mileage plus maybe a couple hundred extra dollars if someone is actually aware of what it is.

While all (most?) of us here love our Gladiators, they weren't exactly the hit that Jeep was wanting them to be. They aren't some highly sought after, rare vehicle.

That’s not entirely true. The real problem is Jeep doing what all American brands do. Just keep building beyond the demand and pushing inventory on dealerships who have to put huge discounts on them to sell them. They also really screwed a lot of people when they raised the msrp through the roof and then lowered it back down. I’m glad I bought a 2020 back in 2020 with the $10k lower msrp with an $8k discount. I paid $47k for my $55k Jeep. If it was $67k and I paid msrp like people did in 22-23 I’d be super pissed

Everybody saying they were overproduced....it's not a final final final edition 392. There were exactly 4,190 built. Period. While that is not extremely rare, I'd guess the amount of them that are still stock and low mileage is drastically lower than that. I don't think it's worth drastically more than any other Gladiator in the same shape and mileage, but I would have to assume someone would pay a little extra for an unmolested limited edition.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition
I bought my Launch Edition in Dec 2019, still at 35k miles. I would suspect there is nothing special a dealer would offer for trade or buy. The only "launch edition" to me was that it was fully loaded. It's paid off now so I will probably never sell it. I patiently wait to see what they are going to do with the Gladiator for the next year or two. I would love the 5.7 V8 but doubt that will ever happen and I just can't personally justify the cost to drop in an engine swap. At least as long as the current engine is still doing well.

You need to get a 5.7. Call it a business
expense so you can design all the plates and such for us suckers that are going to buy them outright when they eventually sell them for us. :like: :angel:
