So no 2020 model year, and so far, only early 2022 model year - is that correct?Earliest with leak is 9-30-2020, latest is 12-06-2021.
Is yours a 2022?Found out mine has a leaky rear seal. Told parts are on back order. I only have 4700 miles on it so far.
In case you are on your phone - his profile says his is a 2021 Sport SIs yours a 2022?
2021 but late build date of 11/2021Is yours a 2022?
Of course I am. ThanksIn case you are on your phone - his profile says his is a 2021 Sport S
That was a few months back........... this is now............ perhaps your shop couldn't get the part now?i upgraded my gearsa few months back and while having it done the shop advised the seal was leaking. Cost 300 buck and they did it at the same time. Crazy people are waiting months for the dealer to fix it. I was going to see if I could get reimbursed, but decided I didn't want to fight.
Yes no 2020. My 2021 is an early build(9-6-2020 build) and no leaks, so looks like these axle problems started late September 2020 and continued to at least very early 22 models( the only 22 model so far is a diesel. It has affected most(all?) models, but I'm noting the diesel until we get another 22 affected ) at least made to December 21.So no 2020 model year, and so far, only early 2022 model year - is that correct?
Just the seal. That was a few months back........... this is now............ perhaps your shop couldn't get the part now?
Did they buy the MOPAR part - meaning the whole axle with bearing and seal, or did they simply replace the seal and bearing on your existing axle?
I hope the bearing, too, since it has to be pressed off to replace the seal (and the bearing retainer, which is actually a tighter fit on the axle shaft than the bearing itself)Just the seal.
