Damn! I started this tread about 4 years ago and just came back after a 2 year hiatus. Hard to believe they haven't got it figured out yet.

A little concerning since I'll probably be picking up a new Mojave in the next week or so.

The right rear axle seal on my 2005 WJ leaked, had to replace it. I guess that this has been going on for 20 years, and still no fix.

I have a 22 Overland with 43K miles, in the past 6 months I have dealt with a front passenger axle leaking 3 times, the dealer repairs it and 2 months later it starts leaking again! I am ready to give the it back to the dealer! Its going in tomorrow for the 4th time, same issue!

I would think this point, unless they can say you bent the housing.....They should just order you a new complete front axle assy.

Ugh! I hear you. I had a Willy's 2021 and every time I rotated tires after 15k, I noticed a massive amount of grease on the rotor, caliper and axel shaft. This went on until July 24 when they were repairing (since it was documented under warranty), I got a call from the dealer "wanting to buy" my jeep. I ended up trading in for a 2025 Mojave. I could not be happier and fingers crossed after 4k no issues! Best of luck here.

I had an '01 that did the same thing on the same side. Dana 44 rear (for those wondering why this is relevant). Pulled a right rear axle assembly off a junkyard WJ, popped it in, no leaks for another 10k miles when I sold it 😆

I have a 2021 JT S Max tow purchased in 12-21 with about 35000 miles and just had my right rear axle seal repaired under warrantee without issue. I would think that you shouldn't have any problems

Look in door frame. There is a sticker that shows MDH(month/day/hour) of production. What is yours?
