LED DRL - can I have the tail lights on too?

Anyone know if you can add the tail lights to the DRL function such that during the day, when headlight switch is in the "auto" position, that I can have my regular LED DRL's and have the tail lights on too? For various reasons I prefer to have my tail lights on at all times, and that means I have to drive with headlights on all the time. That means I have to keep switching the interior dash brightness control to adjust when it gets dark outside because then the dash is too bright. My thought is that if I could have tail lights on with the DRLs then everything else would work as Jeep intended i.e. DRLs and bright dashboard during the day and headlights with dimmer dashboard at night.

Do parking light mode make the DRL orange? .. Or.. You can hard wire the AUX switches to the tail lights with a few diodes.
