I hate to be they guy who says this BUT my family is the best companion I have. I own a lab who is gracious enough to go get ducks I shoot in ice water but my son is the most important thing in that blind with me. I have a 19 year old long hair dachshund that will sit on my lap and keep me warm for hours but my daughter gets fed before he does. My wife of 20 years...I wouldn’t survive a week without her. And finally the greatest companion anyone can or ever will have Christ Jesus.

That looks like a painting of Pres Nelson, is it? And yes, family is most important, yet in my life rn, my dog is my sanity (and my financial ruin, lol my Gladi takes second place) because my husband died 22 years ago this year, my kids are grown and on their own, so all I have right now is my dog Mollee Moo. Unfortunately she gets motion sick, and stresses severely in the vehicle, and sometimes throws up, so she doesn't come with me on adventures. :crying:

Question for all the FRONT SEAT Riding puppy owners......... I have had a front seat cover from Chewys for 4 years now........ about time for another. I'm not dis-satisfied with it, though i wish the skirts had a more positive elastic to keep tucked underneath the seat, to keep the cover in position better........ but does anybody have a favorite or recommendation for a front seat puppy cover? I want Fit, durable and looks!
I have the same problem, my dog started out with and still has the same cover on her seat it, it was dialed in before some nasty winter driving and the impromptu hose out, hasn't fit right. I've since got a driver and back bench seat cover, the back cover doesn't sit well at all, one piece so it's a pita too get into either box under the seat and doesn't have holes to get to the seatbelt buckles or the hard points for securing 2 legged beasties. It's on a shelf in the garage, I have it an honest 1 week try. Active Pet is the brand I have, I really can't fault them on anything, sturdy, well made, pretty good for a generic vehicle fit.

Got to thinking about it, maybe a grommet hole on each of the back skirt corners and a bungee strap around the back of seat. Just a thought, it's dark and cold right now so I'll have to look at it tomorrow

I'm going to try the grommet and bungee on my driver seat cover, I think I'm going to also make a couple slits in the side with a hot knife so the side skirt tucks around the lumbar knob and the seat jack handle. I can only see that helping, it always bunches up when I drag my butt over the bolster.

So sad and happy, why can't I ride shotgun, hang my head out the window and let my tongue flap in the breeze, or ride gangster with one arm hanging out the window. My Welsh has always been out the window, 45mph was about her limit though, gladiator doors don't exactly jive with that, but she was all kinds of fired up on first ride with tube doors
