This is with a 1" spacer. To be honest not really much of a change. I have since upgraded to 35's with the 2" mopar lift.

Not a ton of choices in this size, I am considering this size with Toyo AT3s, the other size I am considering is 35/11.5/17s also Toyo AT3s, either can be mounted on stock 7.5" wide wheels per Toyo, AFAK there are no 35/12.5/17s same as 315/70/17s that say they can be mounted on a 7.5 wide wheel though many people do it without issue.

Agree, the choices are limited but for those that don't want to lift, regear, the balloon tire/oem wheel look and is mpg conscious this size is a good option. Here's a quick list of some well-established tires in this size

I'm torn between 285/75-17 and 255/80--17. I have aftermarket wheels with a pretty agressive backspacing, so worried about going too much wider. Here are the measurements for the 2 and the factory size:

285/75-17- H: 33.8 W: 11.2
255/80-17- H: 33.1 W: 10

Factory:
245-75-17- H: 31.5 W: 9.6

This is my JKU with a 2” lift and Toyo AT2s 285/75/17s on stock wheels, they rode great and didn’t extend beyond the fenders.
