Howdy!

I’ve had my JT for about a month now. I’ve installed Fuel Shoks, 37in Ridge Grapplers and the mopar 2in lift.

I have ordered a VKS Fab. front bumper and warn evo 10s. With the already extreme front rake, this combo is sure to make it sag in the front. Has anybody else installed either the Daystar 1.5 leveling kit with shock extensions or the Teraflex 1.5in leveling kit? With a Mopar lift?

Any special considerations?

I have used the search function with no similar setup.

thanks!

I just installed the mopar 2"lift on my overland. I have a rugged ridge arcus front bumper and a badland 12.5k winch. Wheels are milestar patagonia metric so approx 34".

I also installed the 1.5" terraflex leveling kit on the front and the 0.75" daystar spacer on the rear and although it appears level to the eye, the rear is about 1/2" higher than the front. I also installed airlift airbags in the rear for when we are loaded with the RTT and overloading gear.

Here are some pics...

Let me know if you have any questions,
Cheers

I have a JT diesel with steal bumper and winch, I went with the teraflex dual springs 3.5". With all the xtra weight it sits level on drivers side- .5" rake on the passenger side..
When I shim it, I personally want a metal spacer! I had a spacer leveling kit in at 1st and never felt comfortable with plastic spacers..

Added teraflex 1.5 to mine and sits about 1/2 inch lower in front than back. How I like it, don’t care for it to be perfect level.

I have a Sport S that has a fishbone bumper and winch along with the Mopar lift and along a daystar 1.5" level that came with shock extensions on the front. To help with the 1.5" lift I added Rancho geometry brackets, adjustable trackbar and I also added JKS quick disco's.

Very bad picture for it seems like a lot of rake still, but there isn't. The pic in my avatar doesn't show much rake.

Any issues with the alignment or geometry? The dealership (to keep it all under warranty) is noting that I would also need an adjustable track bar. Have you added that?

Your JT looks awesome!! Great color.

Have you had any issues with alignment with the lift and leveling kit? Did you use the Daystar shock extensions with the Mopar lift?

That seems like the most popular combo from the JL forums. Did you have any issues not using the shock extensions like the one included in the Daystar lift?

What are the issues with plastic spacers? Have you had any problems?
Thanks!

And you will need a track bar as the front will pull to one side without it, your front axle will be off.

You used the fox shocks included in the Mopar 2in lift? What track bar? Anything else added during that lift?

sorry no I didn’t specify, I have a hybrid. I pulled the Mopar lift contents and ordered only what I wanted from.

rubicon express springs
teraflex 1.5 spacer on front
mopar lower control arms for Mopar lift
day star lower isolators
rancho adjustable trackbar
fox steering stabilizer
fox front and rear shocks for 2-3 inch lift

non lift but added weight
arcus front bumper
rr hd rear bumper
tazor mini
pedal commander
holley cat back exhuast
diode dynamics fog lights
dv8 rock sliders
rr bed cover

sure I missed some things

the rubicon express first installed had the same height and rake as the Mopar one however.

No issues at all. I decided on the 3/4 to offset the weight of the winch and winch support plates in the bumper. I think it offsets it nicely without needing more. Hence it put the lift back where it should be after adding the winch stuff. I did also buy the 1.5" and decided not to use for exactly what you are asking.
