I am putting together components for my second JT diesel.
I got a 23 willys sport s to do my first "ground up" build from bone stock to sitting on 40s.
I am currently building my 392 on a metal cloak 4.5" but have recently found that the 4" ready lift is right at half the cost.
Has anyone used the ready lift 4" Terrain flex lift on legitimate off road obstacles?
I'm trying to determine if this is another case of "you get what you pay for".
Thank you in advance

I would not go Ready Lift personally. The rear uses a spacer instead of springs, it doesn't come with a rear track bar, and the control arms are not adjustable. I have (had?) this lift that was installed by the dealer. I replaced the springs and got rid of the spacers. Replaced rear and front track bars and added drag link and tie rod all with MC. Control arms are next, but I have beat the RL ones pretty hard and they have help up well. They also do align ok and I have great wear patterns. Falcons that came with the kit are fine. Just not worth the effort and cost to replace the parts you don't want and it's missing things that are reasonable important for a 4" lift, like a rear track bar and rear springs. I did wheel on the kit as installed the first weekend I got the truck, but I think I had new springs on by trip 2.

I would stick @Metalcloak

If you buy a budget kit, you'll always be comparing it to your other build and not be happy.

Buy once, cry once. Or piece it together over time......this it what I did. I started with the AEV Spacer lift and added the MC goodies over time, track bars, drag link, lower control arms. Then when I got my bonus last year I bought the rest of the MC GC 4.5 kit.
