So I did the AEV 2” lift and then got 35’s and new rims. I thought I was crazy and my wife insisted I was. But I took a photo today and the passenger side looks low. I tossed a level on and I’m not crazy, it’s not a ton but it’s 1/8-1/4” off. The spring spacers look sat correctly, what else could be adjusted so the Jeep sits level again? Or is this just what it is?

That’s why the stock springs are different on the passenger side. They compensate for the fuel tank on that side. I thought many lifts compensate for this. Is it possible you put the springs on the opposite intended sides? It looks severe enough that it might be that simple.

I did each side one at a time.

I googled it now, I guess it’s normal? I didn’t notice it before lol so it just seemed odd.

not what I meant. The part numbers should actually be different on each side. The ones on the passenger side are supposed to handle the gas tank weight so the truck ends up level. The stock springs are different on each side for that reason. Did you try swapping them? I bet AEV is aware of that, otherwise their vehicle builds with that same lift would have the same issue.

Ohhhh. I could check that. I did them one at a time so they would have been that way from the factory.

It’s perfectly normal to have some slight differences.
it has nothing to do with the lift, unless maybe you didn’t clock the springs into the right positions or failed to install the spacers correct with the alignment posts thru the upper coil bucket.

Thanks, I guess just didn’t notice it and now I’m looking more intently after installing it.

Other thing is, when using a level on your hood - the “level” may be effected by a lot of factors From your hood thru the truck and down to the ground, which may not be exactly level. I would say that amount of variance is a non issue

Okay, thanks! I’m pretty observant but I felt like it drove that way too. Than I thought I was crazy until the photo.
