Light in cup holder not working

Question the light in the cup holder stopped working recently. Sadly I think it is because my dog accidentally knock a whole coffee over and it filled the cup holders. I did clean it out but im thinking this may have caused it to no longer worker. Obviously its not water proof. Any one know how to replace it or get to it so I can fix it? Do u think it just a buld or do you think itll be more then that?

My cup holders have had water in them without issue.

Just checking here....but did you maybe lower the ambient lighting all the way from the switch on the dash? There are two scroll wheels there. One controls the ambient lighting, cups holder and floor board and the other controls dash lighting and all the way up turns on the overhead lights.

I did check that and sadly isn't not the case.

If it knocked out the lights that was one STRONG cup of coffee!!!

On a serious note, do all the other lights associated with that line work? If not you might have gotten lucky and it kicked a fuse. I’d go through the wiring if you have the time and ability and check for damage. Coffee at a connection point either burned the lights out or sent a spike down the line. Replace the wiring and bota bing bota boom. Might save you a few bucks too.

No separate fuse for the cupholder lights, sorry. They are on the same panel lamps circuit fed by the instrument cluster as for most of the backlighting in the dash and interior switches.
