I used this in a 1974 FJ 40. I looped the brake lines from the master cylinder area and installed the valve under the dashboard, mainly as an antitheft device, but it worked great when I need the FJ to not move for any reason. I used it for years without any problems but I don't know if anti lock or other electronic systems in a modern JT will object to this installation.
