Right. And if the media on the thumb drive has names and is organized well, the radio does a good job of helping you navigate it. I believe the uconnect voice commands even work with finding artists and albums, don’t quote me. I’ll try it in the grand Cherokee tomorrow.

One thing I am thinking tho... it has one USB C and one A... I wonder if CarPlay and Android auto work only on one of those two... hopefully you could have a thumb drive and still use CarPlay or android auto.

Here is the answer to my question. UCONNECT can read a thumb drive in ANY USB port, front and rear.... That's awesome.

In case anyone is interested I took a screen shot picture from the second video. Here you will see what a Gladiator looks like without that bass speaker in the middle behind the back seats. I know it’s not a great shot but they were not focusing on this in the video. Color was dark so I lightened it up a little bit.
