Hi all,

I'm talking to an ARE dealer about getting a topper. But in the mean time I need something to cover my bed so I can at least use it to carry groceries, luggage, and skis.

Has anyone. purchased an inexpensive toneau for their truck that they are happy with?
I don't care if its cheap looking vinyl. I'll be reselling it in 5 months.

Thanks.

I got this on Amazon:
Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Compatible with 2020-2022 Jeep Gladiator (JT) | TG-BC3J1060

I really only use it when I'm travelling with the family to keep luggage in the back, and it's been perfectly fine.

Thahns this is exactly what I was looking for.

There is a "used, like new condition" one on Amazon for $220

I found a few reasonable highly rated toneau covers on Amazon.

Does anyone have an opinion of tri fold vs roll up?

You are thinking of a hard tri fold. I'm looking at a soft toneau. The hard covers are much better but $700+.

I really can't justify that since I'll be getting a cap as soon as I can. My dad has a hard trifold on his Ridgeline and its really nice.

I have the cheap roll up from Amazon. I think I paid $175 about a year ago. I have zero complaints, everything stays dry. I think its a Tyger if I'm not mistaken.

All, after a flurry of research reading old threads here I just purchased a Gator Trifold soft toneau.

Gator is an American company with a great warranty and excellent customer service based on the reviews I've read. The product is made in the US (from probably Chinese parts) so there is some accountability.

Cost was $279 shipped. $50 more than an amazon Toneau, but it is custom sized for the Gladiator and seemed worth it to me.

Thanks for the input.

FYI, Gator sells on Amazon too, but at least back when I bought mine, the ones on Amazon are an older version, and the ones Gator sells direct for $10 more are a lot better.
That said, I bought mine on Amazon. It was a Prime Day deal or something, and it was on sale for something like $170 plus my 5% cash back for using my Amazon credit card, PLUS like a $20 Amazon gift card or somesuch. Too good a deal to pass on.

Nice. I would have gotten the older one for that deal.
