I have a 2023 Rubicon - would like to keep std wheel, am going to fit 285/70 17 to it. Trying to decide between BF Goodrich KO3 or Maxxis Razr AT811 - any feedback would be great? I spend 98% of my driving on the highway and value a quiet and comfortable tyre.

If you do he BFG AT you have to avoid E rating. Look for D or c. E had a stiffer sidewall and ride. 35/12.5 X17 E BFG were great on my 2020, just a stiff ride..

I just put Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail ATs on my High Altitude and love them. I have about 400 miles on them but just did a 4 hour highway drive and they are very quiet and ride very comfortably. I was going to get KO3s and preferred the more rugged look, but the price on these with the rebate made them too good to pass up. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Which tires/tyres does your 23 JTR presently have? US spec Rubicons would have 285/70 R 17 either in AT or MT. Your post makes me think that isn't the stock size in AU?

I might suggest Hankook DynaPro ATm.

I put them on my '08 GC Overland (Hemi) that I also put a 2" lift into. The price was also very nice. Can't remember what I paid for them but, I do remember they were less expensive than other AT type tires.

They looked great, were VERY quiet and, the first winter I had them, we got like a foot and a half of snow one storm followed by about 1/2" of frozen rain on top of that so, there was a nice crust to contend with too.

Of COURSE, I HAD to go out and play in the snow with my GC...it went through the stuff with ease. Both tooling around my yard (lived on about 3 acres at the time in NW NJ) and out on the roads.

When it comes time to replace my factory tires on my JT Overland, that's what I'm going with. Probably 265s vs. the factory 255s. I'm getting close. I've had my JTO since 7/19 (ordered in 5/19) and it's got around 35,500 miles on it now (retired and loving it) and, the factory tires are starting to show the need for replacement.

In AU they come std with BFG MT KM3 255 75 17.... I had the dealer take these off due to noise and they have put Bridgestone Dueler AT 245 75 17 on it.

Be awesome to hear from anyone who has tried the BFG KO3 or Maxxis Razr AT811

Having trouble with the forum software, so my apologies if this post ends up all mangled.

The KO3 are still relatively newly available so not surprised that not a lot people have experience with them.

Then for the Maxxis RAZR AT, at least in the US market, the 285 70 R 17 is available as a load range E tire or in a P metric, not light truck, tire. Can verify that here:

https://www.maxxis.com/us/tire/razr-at/

Here's a listing of 285 70 R 17 tires:

https://tiresize.com/tiresizes/285-70R17.htm

You can filter the results based on tire type, brand, etc. Comes down to what is available to you in your market at a price point you are comfortable with.

My opinion is worth what you paid for it, but if I had to choose between KO3 and Razr AT in that size, I'd go with the KO3 because they are load range C.

This says they have a 60 day satisfaction guarantee:

https://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/auto/tires/all-terrain-t-a-ko3

But I'd be sure to read the fine print on that guarantee before buying.

Got Dynapros few months back, I do 80% highway commute. So far love them, drove thru some bad downpours, super stable, by far best bang for the buck.
