First if I am posting this in the wrong section, mods move it if it needs to be.
I put in general so the post will get more traction, and hopefully someone other can help me.

@JeepCares

2020 Gladiator Sport S. I brought it brand new, currently have about 30months and 30k miles on it.
I am going to try and keep this brief.
About 4 months ago, I started hearing a grinding noise at start up, only when the motor was 100% cold.
After several trips to the purchasing Dealer, and a unknow number of oil changes they found metal shavings in my oil.
Prior to the finding the metal shavings in the oil, the dealership recommendations by dealership, " Bring it back on a tow truck, or when it was really broken. "
The motor was replaced under warranty. This took about 10 weeks, with the several trips to the dealership, to diagnose the issue, and then getting & installing the new motor.

After picking up from the new motor installation., I had to bring it back 2 days later, because the oil pain was not screwed all the way down & was leaking oil all over the girl-friends garage, never a good thing btw.
This was takin care of.

So now for the past 2 months I have two new issues.
1) WHILE DRIVING it will go from D to park.
2) IT will lose 100% no power going through it at all. Sometimes while parked leaving me strained in a hot parking lot. And sometimes while driving down the road.
YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!! It comes out of gear while driving down the road AND loses power!!

The dealer will keep for a few weeks at a time, give it back to me, saying it is fixed. Sure enough it will have one of those issues. The last one as I was driving out of the dealership parking lot, their comment, bring it back tomorrow,. Guess what didn't make tomorrow, had to have it towed in.

I have an open case with Chrysler.

I am at my wits end on what to do here.
The dealership, cannot get it fixed. They say if I want anything done, I need to talk to Chrysler.
I call & email Chrysler multiple times a week. I generally get one response a week. So they are no help. Can't seem to get this escalated to the decision maker.
The dealership, no help , and has stated they do not want this Jeep. So I can not trade in, it won't work long enough. Dealership certainly dosen't want, cuz who would want a Jeep that loses power & falls out of gear while driving down the road..

I am sitting here with a Jeep I can not trust to even make it home from getting "fixed"
I am posting here, because I need HELP @JeepCares or anyone, some one please help me.

(see attached videos, there is some colorful NSFW laugh, after I lost all power coming home from the dealership, and almost getting rear end by a semi truck, because I lost power. )

Have you had issues with the transmission prior to 30k? Or electrical

no transmission issues
no electrical issues.

Till the motor was replaced at the 30k

It was a great vehicle up until that point then it all went down hill

Out of curiosity I was talking in a thread recently about oil. Dealers have been filling with 6 quarts instead of 5. Some people agree it’s fine. Others say it with froth the oil and not allow it to properly lubricant the moving parts. Do you know if this contributed to the initial reason for motor replacement? I’m sorry about your issue. Best case they give you a 2022

Sorry to hear about that dude. I'm no lawyer, but I think that would qualify under lemon laws, especially if it's consistently the same issue. You'll probably have to hire a lawyer though, unfortunately.

You need to send a message to @JeepCares asking for their help. They do not post publicly.

I would be talking to a Lemon Law lawyer. Those laws are meant to help people when the vehicle is not repairable.

Another Gladiator with engine issues......
I know there will be hate and comments about other manufactures have issues, but I would love to see some actual data in comparison....
