Not sure if there is an issue with my ecodiesel. After towing, I back my truck and trailer down the drive way. The driveway is pretty steep. I sometimes park the truck partially inclined so I can unload the trailer.

After unloading, when I start the truck back up to put the trailer away, oil pressure light comes on and it gives me a warning message. Off road page gauge says 22-23 psi at idle. Give it gas and obviously the pressure goes up but idles back down and another warning.

Once I shut off the truck and unhitch the trailer I start it back up and the warning is gone. Today is the second time I’ve noticed this.

Is this an issue I should worry about? Glitch? Design flaw?

No but the dealer did. I also read that thread. this also happened before the last oil change.

Just to clarify, I think it has something to do with the angle of the truck/oil pan.
I don't know about the angle. I had mine tilted about 32* at Rausch Creek.

To get a good idea of the angle. What every you watch that video on, phone or laptop. Tilt it to keep the spotter in an up right position. My asshole was sucking some leather up off the seat.

Mine does the same thing. I just leave it parked nose downhill and try not to worry about it too much. FWIW, I have read on this forum that the oil pressure gauge is not a mechanical unit and instead something similar to an estimate based on a computer algorithm of other engine parameters, so maybe that’s playing a part in the low oil pressure warning…I’ll leave it to someone more familiar with these engines to correct me and my interpretation of what I read. All in all, this is just a long winded way for me to bump the thread and hopefully get some real and helpful feedback on this issue.
